This image is really soothing and it warms my heart. This effect is compounded by how it reminds me of what my GF and I did on a date back in Wednesday.

Somehow, when I read the first two speech bubbles of the second to last panel of this page I thought something along the lines of "You can't spell " Wait, caruful ." without "Waifu". Then I asked myself "Wait, what? What was this thought I had?".

This manga has gone down hill.

Now, usually I wouldn't recommend mapping series here because I know most, if not all of you won't like it, but there's is one mapping series that has chances of having a greater chance of being liked by most of those outside the mapping community, due to the simple fact that it's super-comedic and fully animated, and that's not even mentioning the ships one can make (several het ones were and one still is canon).

The only context to this image that I can think of is that pharaoh Hatshepsut, (on top of being bi) in order to show herself in the manliest light possible (ancient Egyptians had some kind of religious rule against female rule or something (just some watered down mysoginy)), she also got herself some of those same concubines the other pharaohs had. As if all those trade expeditions, fighting alongside the Egyptian army in military campaigns and, y'know, BEING A PHARAOH wasn't enough.

TBF I daresay the point is you don't really get a very good look at her features without peering from close up which people normally won't and 'Koro wouldn't let do anyway, as per conventions of manga visual storytelling, which is of course why she has them that way to begin with. (Loner tropes etc.) Ergo, this is more or less the first time their peers are actually getting a decent view of her noggin and they're all "waitwhat so this is how she looks under that fringe? :o"

And, yes, this is Nikaidou brazenly showing off her cute GF. "This is what y'all been missing out on y'know." :d

Both of these paragraphs, but the second one especially so, make perfect sense to me.

Well we can argue whether she's cuter with bangs down or the way she was in this chapter, but Tadokoro was certainly more beautiful in this new look.
