Is it me, or does Koguma have some sort of disorder? Or is she just very innocent and ignorant? She brings up all sorts of rules that I can't imagine a Japanese high school having, and Hino always questions them, but she never gives up on them. For context, the school I taught at for years was what would be a magnet school in the US or an elite state school in the UK like Twyford C of E High School. We did have the rules like no stopping off anywhere before you got home and took off your uniform, and the teachers having to watch out for the students if they saw them outside of school, but it seemed to me like Koguma thought anything she noticed about Hino was illegal, basically.

Double mood. Shit should be fair game if left alone for two months imo. Readers literally get sick and die sometimes before getting to finish a story because some damn translator sat on it instead of having enough decency to hand over the story to someone else. I have no respect for those types.

So you want what is essentially Piracy?
It's one thing if we can't get the story any other way but when it's for sale in a language we understand then that's the right way to get it

To be completely fair, sometimes a company licenses a manga to put on their pay-to-read manga website and then they never fucking finish translating it and sit on the rights for years because hey why not we've got a contract, and at that point, I feel like the ethics get a whole lot sketchier.

Eh, I don’t know. Stubbornly digging in your heels and acting like a jerk to someone you care about simply because you want them to remember who you are on their own (all while doing nothing to help them in that processes), and potentially torpedoing the relationship you hope to get back in the process, still seems like a pretty big L to me. Like, even if it does work, that W isn’t going to erase the Ls that were taken along the way.

Some people are like that, opinionated stubborn and slightly self destructive and a scoop of idealism

These kinds of ghost stories often end with the ghost leaving at the end. I hope this story avoids that pattern in some way. I'm still wondering how the childhood friend comes in. It's possible she'll end up as the endgame. However with Ryou clearly loving Okiku, if Okiku's vanishing is what leads to the friend's romantic ending it'll be difficult to avoid the feeling that the friend was a "rebound" (or only a replacement for what was the real true but impossible love). Then there's the ghost connected to the friend and who the third ghost will be. We also still have this lingering ghost. A lot to deal with and I'm looking forward to it.

One way it could be done is if Okiku herself tries to set them up
