Some scenes really looks the same. Even the dialogue is almost the same. Especially the “make love scene”. Is it a reference?

Yeah, that's not an allusion, that's straight up plagiarism. The art is so similar at times in the making love scenes, camera angles are all the same, paneling is very similar, the style of the fingers and, ahem, bushes are copied. Even the covers are similar, on top of the scenes you mentioned. What an exciting time, we haven't used this tag for a manga in eons.

Angst incoming

I'm betting on drama. My personal rule is generally that angst is a feeling or theme while drama comes from plot actions. I adjusted the tags slightly to account for 1 out of 6 chapters having angst and all of them being wholesome as fuck. There's also A LOT of fan service, even if it isn't creepy objectification, so it got ecchi

I am all behind corporate drone escapism and return to nature fantasies. Sign me up for that vicarious living.

Enjoying the series while it still on the cute side. Delving through the LN currently and omg, the dark tone is real. And Rei's past is like a depressing manga spinoff.

The summary on the back of volume 2 of the manga calls it "the next installment of this ridiculously heartwarming rom-com about a girl who's all-in for her favorite character." That's worth a glorious Naga laugh, or at least a chuckle, for the poor editor who wrote it. Someone at Seven Seas is in for a wild ride when they read the rest of the series.

For Rei, she thinks that the world is programmed to only give her a romantic route with the princes and the Claire is treated as a villainess for the entire plot, so she thinks her romantic route for Claire is non-existent.

Its true that she's been stifled by the sequence of events at times but she tries to help Claire get closer to Thane as well so its clear she thinks she can change things. She just doesn't see herself by Claire's side, and is pretty candid about that.

She's hard to compare to other villainess or isekai protagonists though she references Main/Myne from Ascendance of a Bookworm in the WN.

I totally missed this, when is Myne referenced? Something to do with a printing press?

I'm not sure about the lolicon tag. Natsumi does not seem to see the little sister that way. Love triangle tag does not seem needed either. Possibly the incest tag does need to be added though. Probably. Thank you for the chapter.

If it needs the incest tag, how can it not need the love triangle tag as well? Either that or poly as it's kinda hinted at. If the little sister's feelings toward her sister are romantic, hence the need for the incest tag, then it must constitute a love triangle, no?

I agree you might need poly in the future but a love triangle consists of "a" loving "b" who loves "c" that might love "a". ...... Neither of the other two even see the little sister as a romantic partner.

She is not interested in being good, in being the hero. She's scheming, she's ruthless and could just as easily become a believable villain, it's all down to the circumstances.

I love how they put the commoners as the villains here, no interest in reading anymore. Don't know why the author decided to put his dog water politics into this, just disgusting.

He's not exactly wrong on the last point. In the end, and taking into consideration the national ethos and critique of said ethos of the Empire from part 2, one of the themes of the manga is Inori's half-baked libertarian ideals. The story isn't a platform for her beliefs, but they're there.

You know, I am kind of frustrated with Rei. She knew all of this was to go down. She knows everything since she played this game to death and back in real life, likely finishing it multiple times. Perhaps she could have prevented the violence, or mitigated it in some measure.

It's good you're invested, this becomes a major plot point.

Class struggle tag when

The communism tag is always at the ready! However, it won't end up on this story. I am absolutely keeping the freedom tag in my back pocket. Just in case. When everything pans out. In like 5 years.

This series will have a very bizarre ending if it ever gets the axe before then. A total aside here, but this is already a long-running series in terms of Yuri Hime. Getting past 20 chapters solidifies it as a good series, past 30 would have it outlasting most YH series, past 40 would be monumental and on par with My Unrequited Love, and past 50 would push it toward an eternal series like Citrus or Yuru Yuri. And I'm betting it'd need to get to 50 just to cover part 1

There sure is a lot of talk about putting a tragedy tag on this when there hasn't been a tragedy. No need to jump the gun, but continue sharpening your axes for the battle ahead!

Since this chapter was only published a few days ago, the ending is still undetermined. But if anyone thinks it is warranted, they can still suggest the Depressing as fuck tag. Depending on how the story goes, it might still be pretty spoilery.

The general rule, which is consistent, is that tags that would spoil critical plot points are not added. A hidden tags system, like on MD or sad panda, would require a new feature being developed. It's not a small endeavor but I hear it's actively being considered.
