Honestly that's the biggest problem so far since they start going out. They barely talk to each other of their problems, you thought you could have be over that after one or two problems but nope.

Yep i had the feel it's becoming a little too much personal.

Don't know how i feel about the fact that what it mean to be a somewhat innocent sentence of Kase blowup to such proportions. It was just to show Kase's insecurities about their relation not to people suddendly debate if Kase is a tyrant who want Yamada to do what she told her. All Kase said was suggestions not orders, she don't threat Yamada in any kind. You should seriously stop seeing problems where is none yet.I mean yes, if Kase continue to be like this it could be a problem but there isn't right now.

Kase's preoccupation with regulating Yamada's clothing choices needs to stop.

It happen like two times, once in each manga. Why make it pretend she said it everytime Kase saw Yamada.

Except that is not their relationship and thus should not be their dynamic.

And i don't say it should be, i said that how you can interpret their relation right now. Of course Kase need to let some space to Yamada.

I don't know i try to continue talking about that anyway. I don't see how talking about a Mom/Daughter relation is worse than an abuse relation but apparently it is.

Anyway i don't see how everyone is working up on that when it will probably be forgotten in the next chapter and never be discussed anymore by any of them.

but now it's stifling in the context of Yamada actually becoming a functional adult and expanding her horizons while Kase firmly tries to keep her the same.

I don't think she want her to stay the same but rather don't seem to trust her enough to be functional. The problem of Kase is she still think Yamada is a frail girl who need her protection but she doesn't seem to understand it's not the right behavior, she need to put more trust in Yamada.

Edit: yes i realize power dynamics exist in any relationship but they shouldnt unless they are unhealthy. Like they are becoming with kase and yamada because the author insists they follow gender roles from a het relationship.

Why always go to the het side directly ? Kase just put Yamada on a pedestal and assume that everyone think like her a.k.a a head over heel girl. It's not a problem of dynamic, Kase just love Yamada too much always assume the worst because she know Yamada is a fairly naive girl and she think she had to protect her from all the wolves.

we see more of Yamada’s point of view and not Kase.

We have seen only Yamada's POV beside one flashback chapter of Kase when they doesn't even know each other yet. We only know Kase POV when she said it to Yamada, i wish sometime we had some Kase POV chapter rather than wait to have her talking with Yamada.
