Best thing about the Dragon Age series are the countless dungeon layouts of the second game. No dungeon ever felt the same!
Countless is how I felt about the enemies in that game. I honestly went in blind without reading the reviews, and about halfway through the game I was like hmm these fights seem extremely repetitive and unchallenging
DA:2 was originally a DLC concept but EA was liek, no guises do a full game! BTW you only have 2 years, good luck.
Haha really? No giant bugfix mods of the sort that are available for Elder Scrolls games?
I enjoyed that game thoroughly. I can't remember any major bugs, but I'm probably forgetting.
Got to start playing the Witcher 3 last night but I fell asleep. It looks really great.
Loot bugs are hard to know if you don't know what's supposed to drop. Plenty of named characters drop stuff but you don't know rhat they're supposed to drop another cool item. It's not that they dont drop items rather their special loot table or something is screwed. Happens a lot for pickpocketing as named npcs as well.
This playthrough I had a bug with a quest fountain in the Dalish Ruins, only fix is to reload but I was already far too advanced to bother redoing.
There's some fun bugs to exploit too. Like in a quest a demon you summon ask you to let him go for 25 gold. If you get everyone close and order them withiut unpaunsing you get the dialogue 4 times and can get up to 100 which is a substansial sum. You can even get 75 and then kill him if you feel like it.
Or the endless money bug, I think it only work for console though. You put an item in junk and then sell + sell all very fast and you sell the item twice, so you buyback and do it over again.

Lewl, why you so funny.
But hey, at least there the event itself is portrayed as something horrible, and not something horrible for viewing pleasure.
Hey torture is cool, okay. I-I'm not strange or anything.
I just watched Samurai Flamenco and there was a canon yuri pair in a unhealthy as fuck relationship from start to finish as side characters.
On the one hand there is Mari, the bi woman may even love her girlfriend a little bit and on the other hand there is Moe, said girlfriend with unconditional love for her. Mari apparently has a huge fetish for guys in uniforms so she falls for the cop main character and like, actively tries to seduce him pretty much as soon as she meets him.
They have their own story going on, but that is about Mari's inferiority complex towards Moe after she offered to sacrifice herself to save Mari. The only way the obvious problems with the cop are talked about it another girl telling Moe that they have to be there for Mari now cause she's apparently pretty "devoted with her love" while she's thinking about him. Like, what the fuck?
Shipping the two main guys got destroyed by the cop finding his lost girlfiend agáin in the end.
And the whole anime itself was pretty much a weak execution of an interesting concept, mostly failing because of the weak characters. I guess what I'm saying is don't watch Samurai Flamenco. It's basically a mix between Precure, Gurren Lagann and One Punch Man and still managed to be boring.Urgh, I need yuri that won't piss me off now.
Literally got everything wrong, SamFlam is great too. My taste is better than your taste.jpg and stuff.

I've been replayin Dragon Age origins because the first through I really rushed it. And shit the game has a bazillion bugs it's incredible. Bug with loot tables is the most common.
I don't think it's OOC for N(insert random letters) but it is for Lan. She always had the last word against men in her village and her ego is through the roof. Lan says little but it's always the right words, he also does not give her the attention she is used to in her village. It's not so surprising she develops feeling of admiration for the man. Lan on the other hand... He's made a lifelong commitment to Moraine and early in the book says it outloud that he will always think of her and their mission. Her confession and his response was just dumb. I did like it when she cried rejected, a glorious moment indeed. Egwene getting mad at him was so stupid. They're in the blight and they might all just die and fail the world and you get angry he rejects her? Plus he was real gentle about it.
Egwene sort of got rejected too because she made Rand promise to be her warder but I don't think the dragon reincarnated is going to be her warder. He's way too cool fo' dat now. No spoilers pls again
I feel the urge to challange you to a reading race, but I know I'd get distracted and do something else. The first book is very LOTR but it soon gets its own identity. Rand and Mat are both awesome characters too.
Alright I finished Eye of the World. I just want to tell you how I felt about it, please keep in my mind i myour reply that I only want to tslk about the first book, I don't even want you to say things like vague "oh but that character gets better, changes you'll see". I know I'm probably going to regret but oh well, I hope our shared forum history will make you behave yourself. Because I'm going to get book 2 pretty soo , either today or tommorow.
First I'll talk about the beginning and the world. You're right about it being LoTR-like at the start, the descriptive prose, the "we have to run", really reminds me.
I enjoyed how the villager aspect was handled, everyone they tslked to had their say in the legends and lore of the world, without even seeing anything they believed their version was right, their world is small. The gender dynamics of the village council vs the circle of women was interesting as well
As for characters, I like Rand, he knows he's just a farmboy and so he tends to be cautious and triple check most decisions he takes. He always tries to rationalize things under different perspective when dealing with others which gives him good insight on people. His whiteknighting of Egwene is also not too big, he knows she's prideful and will stop himself as to not be annoying or sexist/condescending.
Mat is an interesting character, he's a bit more mean than Rand because he's very scared. He really looks like this journey is really not his cup of Tea at all
Big guy P changed a lot over the course of the book and he's much less gentle than he was at the start, so I don't know much about our Feral friend yet
Egwene is annoying... She really wants to prove that girls are equal to men and it gets very annoying after awhile. I guess she suffers from the same "oh men..." that seem to be prevalent thinking in the countryside
She also thinks more with her passion and guts than with her brain, which makes sense with her personnality. I hope she acquires wisdom in her training at Tar Valon.
Wisdom grill is even more annoying, from superstisious womanto lovestruck imbecile, she's my least favourite as of now, pls stop existing
Thom, he's a cool old man and his previous relationship with the Queen and how he brushed her off and ber advisor wih such panache that they saw fit to have a "capture on sight" decree was pretty cool. He ain't no wimp man.
Moirane and Lan are cool and yet I wish to know more about them. Right now they're more archetype thEn characters to me. Right now they're just Knight-protector and Sage woman to me. I guess we know of Lan's past right now and why he's stoic but I need more
Again, here we have another confirmation that holding hands is 18+. Very lewd and lustful act for sure, nsfw.
I didn't like IWBTG. It's not hard, it's unfair.
It's ez game dawg. I like it because I enjoy the fact you have to be pixel perfect. It reminds me of speedrunning games where you have to be at the correct spot facing a certain way to get the nade jump that allows you to bypass a lot of shit.
Q: Please tell me your submission and publication history before winning the award.
A: From around my third year attending a university, I had submitted work 5-6 times either there or for women's magazines. Several times they won awards, but nothing was picked up for publication.
How does that happen... Oh Japan you crazy you.
where fallen allies are resurrected on the next turn.
What the fuck dude, was Awakening too hard for people or some shit? Not that i have much right to complain, i did play on casuHEY at least i started on Hard okay!? I-it's not like i'm a casual or anything, b-baka!
I know that was a joke, but I've seen enough people say stuff like seriously that to wonder, why would anyone care if you play in easy mode or casual or whatever? It seems a weird thing to get all macho about. I can kinda get it in LoL or Starcraft II or other eSport stuff, but otherwise?
Well, easy has been progressively more "easy". Normal has been the new easy for quit some time.
Easy basically means you press and/or hold X/A/etc nowadays, and people would argue that is not playing game because you can craft something that periodically hit a certain key and that would be playing the game ( there's videos of that ).
I don't really care about what difficulty people play with, unless these same players ask me to play with them in XYZ multiplayer game, then I would kindly decline.
so according to fans Seol-a into black.. I guess I can relate xD
Well she's always stylish and sexy, and black lingerie is sexy in the minds of society so... She wears black, or red.
yet another thought, perhaps, Seol-a talks to her brother? She doesn't need to met him in person to return his car, but I can imagine he might still drop by to ask her why she needed the car, and I can imagine just as well that Seol-a might also ask him an advice how to deal with her friend who doesn't want to open up to her.
His advice is going to be like : Drive

I have the English PS2 version and a working Ps2 and first gen Ps3 but they do it again!
"Game made in Japan is for Japanesu~~~!"
Why do they do this?
I should edit the 1st post instead whoops.
@ChocolateCakeLover: you like beatdown then? Qli's nuff said.
@Evilnemesis: haha I only had my Kaiba+Joey starter deck when I started playing...yeah that went well against vampires/legendary ocean XD. Was it Frogs FTK maybe?(the insane deck I mean) actually I don't know how old you are so...
I'm 23...Haha, yeah I had the Yugi deck and friend had Kaiba. Fun fact: my first buy was the deck and 2 booster packs and I got a Raigeki out of it, my friend was mad jelly man you have no idea. The other one had that effect monster that went into the opponent's deck and if drawn did damage and all monsters on the opponent's side were considered insects. A lot of kids wnated to by that card when I pulled it out. I forgot what's it called.
Worst feels was the 2nd guy I played was the best guy in the group. You should of seen my face when I got crushed so fast by this guy. He had a Harpie lady deck, I was so confused when all dem fusions and equips were coming to me at full speed.
I wasn't using roids, it was at the start of Spirit Caller when Syrus had absolute power if you got him before you had a chance to build your deck. Though I was pretty young when I played it, and I may over hype him because the only human I ever played was my Brother, and he was worse than me.
Haha, reminds me of my yugioh days in the very early days. I was in like Grade 7-8 and mostly played with my nextdoor neighbour and friend. Then he moved in grade 8 and. i had to get new friend etc... I end up at lunch in some room and its basically all day every lunch pokemon/yugioh/any board game room.
So I got rekt so hard, I didn't even have card protectors and all, that's how much of a scrub I was. Then i got better and thought I would go to this tournament that was hosted in the card store I got my stuff at. That's when I learned adults played the game and their deck was insane.
Same thing happened to my friend for Smash, think your good bevause you're the best in your town or whatever, but jk ur shit. Those were the days... No online games and ladders to know what your true worth was. I sometime miss this ignorance because each time you'd fo further you would marvel at a whole new world.
You'd have to be around the person for an extended period of time to get the vibes.
I know of one person who can literally tell you what a person is in like 5 minutes. It's not just a Gaydar, it's really her being the best person I've ever seen by far at non-verbal communication.
She sees subtle things most people just miss out on. Being a kid with her was annoying, she always knew when I was lying or hiding things. Think like the "Lie to Me" show.
Edit: if it wasn't evident it's my mother.

I think it's kinda late to pull a Zelda on him
Maybe he always wanted to do that but it was refused? Or he's just copying "le western open world meme your are the character" experience.
In other news, I saw that Xenoblades chronicles X went full waifu fag, bunch of costumes with less and less clothing on the character. International release censored coming?
Kojima has never been a good writer, he relies on tropes a lot ( to be fair all Japanese game devs do that ). And now they can't stop it, because the Otaku indusry of anime and games have cattered to a small but obssesive fanbase and if anything of the formula changes they get mad. This what happens when you let your fanbase dictate sure a large part of your creative process. It's cool that you know your audience but ultimately it will hinder creativity.
Leaving the quality of his writing aside, i don't think he gets too stuck on styles or anything, MGS2 and ZoE kind of has a similar feel to it, but MGS3 has a completely different style, so is MGS4 and MGS5
If anything i think MGS5 is a little TOO different, he's trying too hard to make things darker and edgier and only now he decides that he wants Snake to be the kind of protagonist that only serves as a proxy for the player to immerse in the world, i don't think this kind of protagonist has a place in MGS
I never said he got stuck on style or that the ambience or atmosphere is similar between games, only that tropes are used a tad too much. Only that numerous tropes are repeated a lot, in different games. It seems like the devs think the Japanese audience need familiarity through tropes or something.
I don't see why Snake being a proxy for characters is that important. Kojima loves inserting himself in the games. He made Quiet cause he wanted a sexy character, he wants to sexualize a women character, he said so on twitter some time back. SJWs were mad, how dare he creates something purely for his own enjoyment, games are made for us, not for you Kojima!
But I'm not sure about your statement thought, where did he say this exactly?
Edit: Also you don't get to decide what is a MGS protag, your god and ovelord and master ruseman Kojima does, for just one last time.

Well, glad you noticed that boys and girls aren't the same. Have you noticed how breasts are treated differently than pecs? And how there's not exactly an even playing field between the owners of same? That's one of those differences.
Vouch #freethenipple!... And stuff. Those "gaming journalists" should be happy the figurines have the same squish. I bet you the butt is too, afterall Snake has the best one of the series.
Personally, this doesn't particularly bug me even though it's a bit weird. What does bug me is he dragged out that tired, overused old trope of rape as a strong/driven woman's backstory. It's a refuge of lazy writers, and carries a lot of crappy baggage with it. People talk up Kojima as a great writer, this ain't evidence for it.

He also never remembers what he writes and so plotholes retcon and so are plenty in the MGS universe. To be fair very few games of time travel and/or a bunch of prequels got the whole thing right. Once you start goong back and forth through the ages, a writer is bound to fuck up, we are only human afterall.

Well since everything else has already been mentioned I'll just talk about Quiet's figurine which has "soft boobs"! oh you guys! you just want more sales and I get it but...I can already imagine the perverts excitement insert squeezing sound effects.
Rofl, every major gaming website is like "Kojima and Jalanese stuck in the sexist past!". But none of them has mentioned the Snake figurine has squeezable pecs, truly next level.
Soft body parts is a staple of Japanese sexy figurines, I thought everyone knew that.

....THis manga needs a damn anime god damn it ;.;.
An anime has been confirmed a while ago, I think it's in this summer season if no delays.
I mean, cute girls doing cute depressing things and zombies. Winning formula if I ever saw one.

I feel bad for Shovel-tan, she knows it's just a question of time.
I was surprised about the fate of radio girl, she had a beautiful design. Normally less than fodder design characters tend to not die like this, especially off screen.

I really need to reread this up until the latest chapter, I'm forgetting names like no other.
I'm actually really surprised that Rii-san actually managed to find her little sister. I thought she might have just been going insane and hearing voices, but glad to see something finally go right for once.
Um that's not her sister. She's losing it.
