My point there was that in this specific case it might as well be het, as the MC fill all the functions of typical harem protagonist and even looks pretty androgynous

This type of wish fulfiment harem-esque stories have existed in fiction and folktales long before japan was even given a written system.

Is it me, or are the Chi's getting rather over-articulate for little kids? I mean, I know they're probably learning the basics of particle physics and all, in preparation for elementary school, but still.
