PERFECT Dream Project (shortened to PDP) is another spin-off of Love Live! It is set in Odaiba at a fictional school called Nijigasaki High School.

Unlike µ's or Aqours, these 9 girls are individuals idols so they don't have a group name and are collectively referred to as the Nijigasaki HS School Idol Club. So far, they're strictly limited to the live streams and the upcoming game, School idol festival ALL STARS.

Kasumi Nakasu (CV: Mayu Sagara) is a first year.
Setsuna Yuki (CV: Tomori Kusunoki) is a second year.
Karin Asaka (CV: Miyu Kubota) is a third year.

I've been thinking about the ending and it feels very similar to Love Live Sunshine's KanaMari.

Spoilers for Sunshine: A case where a person loves the other too much. Kanan/Mei sacrificed their own happiness for the sake of Mari/Yuzu's other opportunities at happiness but clearly not communicating the intent while also failing to realize that the other did not want that.

PDP exists, where µ's and Aqours are in the same age bracket.

Honestly, I think it's much simpler than it really is.

Minato's father got diagnosed with a terminal disease and Minato's mother filed for divorce.

Father left the house, rented a one-man apartment and gave out guitar lessons.

Father met Asami and taught her, bonded with her. Asami met Minato and her mother through pictures and stories.

Father died. Mother came for the inheritance, met Asami and the bad blood starts. Possible reason is that Asami resents the mother for abandoning her dying husband while Mother resents Asami for taking what was suppose to be their inheritance.
