In before possible twist where it's not "moving away" but "moving to a new house for X reasons/closer to school and/or work" yet they still play up the drama from the moving away cliché.

I'mma read it, but "most of the land was lost due to an earthquake" instantly broke my suspension of disbelief. Definitely up there among the most ridiculous excuses to have a particular setting.

So, is the implication that there's a mouth g-spot?? I... why?

So, is Ge Qu supposed to be a wolf or a fox? IDK Chinese animal characteristic stereotypes, the tail tip being whiteish leans towards fox however she's very predatory in her ways that seems more wolf like.

Question: could it possibly be "-nauts" instead of "-nouts"? Idk what a "nout" is supposed to be, but seems like maybe a literal phonetic translation.

The best part? The author already said why she uses bangs, and that reveal doesn't have any different proportions than the normal face. The bangs actually have an effect that we can see when they were removed.

Man, this brings thoughts to mind. These "gods" are just petulant children, jealous that someone would dare tread upon the domain they "gift" to diviners with an ability the person had no choice in receiving.

Why the hell people like poly so much?

Because it's different, also allows for multiple "best boy/girl" to win. It solves a lot of the drama that occurs in romcoms. It takes a bit more effort and commitment to make it work, but monogamy is also something you have to make work for a happy relationship.

Then there's how we can see IRL that monogamy for the sake of monogamy can lead to conflict, cheating being the prime (but not sole) example. Not everyone will be open/poly, but forcing people who can and do harbor feelings for multiple people into that mindset because it's "the correct way", via social norms and/or taboos, will cause strife somewhere along the line. It's still considered "odd/weird" by the masses when people encounter open relationships, and not because it's not natural but because we've been conditioned to view them that way.

To conclude, neither poly nor mono are the correct way, they both are natural. But one of them gets passed over in media because of norms which makes those that make it through the cracks celebrated.

I forgot this series existed. Happy to see it alive.

Shower thought (not actually in shower): Does anyone else think Kaoru's name is just "kale"? Since she's from Finland, supposedly

Throwing my opinion on the table: fox spirits were seen as both good and evil in Japanese folklore, Miko being a "monster" could go either way but the beads makes me lean towards the good variety.

I can't recall, wasn't there a one-shot for this posted earlier? Maybe I'm just mixing all the other works by the author together...

Y'all acting like Nanase hasn't already confessed to Momo. Pretty sure the pool kiss to silent "Suki" was properly conveyed.

So, I'm not the only one who thought the girl with the bike was Ise, right? A fateful encounter in their youth to set their paths together?

Someone you don’t like from your past is trying to get involved with you again? Just call school security! Good one Tachibana, don’t take any shit from anyone.

Good plan, shame the security isn't happy since it's another student and not a real emergency.

Man, I love how all the different sea life is so evocative of Tsukiko's emotions.

I don't think this is the end, people. All the chapters have "End" on the last page. There's a certain lack of finality to this chapter that even hentai have that lets you know there's no more and it's not here.

"predator" here definitely has different vibes in English, though it's possible the same applied for the Japanese title. She's carnivorous (so to speak) but that doesn't necessarily mean that something Horrible was going to happen here, it's more like she just stopped going on the offensive because she wasn't prepared to be acknowledged like that. Which is incredibly cute

She absolutely deserves that "predator" title. She's solely targets virgins, usually considered "easy prey". Also getting the other lead drunk, we all know about that and consent. She started this with the intention of taking the virginity of the other lead as a one night stand.

An issue introduced in a rushed manner then resolved so easily, quickly and neatly leaves me feeling rather unsatisfied by this resolution in a manga i was, up until the last two chapters, enjoying.

Seriously, if the mother was so understanding why the heck didn't she have a frank and open conversation with her daughter about moving before this was an issue? In fact why is her daughter so afraid of speaking out in front of her?

You can't paint their relationship one way and then have it quickly and easily go another.

She wasn't "understanding." She just didn't want to cause too much of a commotion in a public place. While I know it's stereotypical, it's standard "conform, don't stand out" thing of Japanese culture. As to Sora, that's also part of the whole "respect your elders" thing that, while not unique, is much more socially enforced in Eastern cultures. Not to mention the abuse affects different people differently, some just accept things easily to try and make the abuser give them affection that they've been lacking.

I think a lot of people are misreading the amount passed in the time lapse regarding the weight loss and undereating. Yes, the magic diet is an issue, but she could still have genetics to be that pretty just hidden under the squish. Malnutrition isn't the same as starving, you can be relatively "healthy" looking.

So this is a sequel to a sequel to a sequel (to a sequel?) to something I never read in the first place? Really, I shouldn't even consider reading it... but the tags are sucking me in...

I don't know if it's a sequel so much as a retelling/AU. But I'm in same boat, should I even consider this if I don't know what I'm getting into with history behind it?

KISSING?! AMONGST THE YOUTH? WHAT NEXT, SMILES ACROSS THE ROOM?!!

Soon they'll be giving cordial greetings to each other! The scandal of that!

Not an original story

I'd say.

It's literally the same

Not quite. Same premise, but Kusanagi was about childhood/school friend love. No age gap there. This one has a generational age gap consistency

I give up.
I thought this was a more or less realistic story with some cute fantasy bits, but...
After this, anything can happen.
I look forward to the time when Chome is magically transformed into a human girl through the power of love.

Which part is "this"? The first part is a legend rather than true while the rest are... plausible enough given the setting. Well, they're all legends technically. Neji might not jump the rails yet

I agree that the first panel is obviously a legend, akin to the silver spoon saying, however we now have to consider if the crossover is canon considering we've gotten the actual POV of animals thinking and interacting more than real animals would. If so, magic Chome transformation may be in the works.
