I can't help but worry that Mama Niito still doesn't understand the crux of Neeko's issues, because IINM tough parenting is the last thing Neeko needs. What she needs is someone like her dad, but one that takes a proactive approach with their kindness, starting with sitting her down and having an actual heart to heart talk that lets her finally pour all the angst she's been bottling up inside of her without fear of being punished for "failing" to live up to anyone's expectations.

To all the guys being creeped out... You do remember that Chapter 1 started with Otone explicitly saying that she and "Onee-san" are dating, right? Hell, Chapter 2 and 3 begin with a profile page after their respective covers that repeats that information. That should've been your cue that they would be doing unambiguously sexual stuff sooner or later.

I wonder why the beastgirl is chained to the bed. The officer lady seems quite genial towards her, and it's implied that she's not actively abusive (putting aside the "pedophilia = child sexual abuse" angle).

Germany wasn't the only country that did bad stuff, also it has nothing to do with this story.

I liked it, kinda. Not really as a oneshot though. Felt a bit pointless without further explanation.

I mean, the human lady’s uniform practically screams “Gestapo,” while her actions scream, “SS,” so there’s that connection.

We have plenty of Nazi-esque fictional countries and organizations that are otherwise not German-esque in the slightest. Hell, some examples conflate/confuse Nazi symbols with Communist/Soviet ones just because both were contemporary totalitarian dictatorships that committed more or less the same kinds of atrocities at similarly massive scales (yes, the USSR were hideously antisemitic, though it didn't reach the point of Holocaust-style industrialized pogroms; they were more into forced mass relocations and sending undesirables to the gulag prisons).

... How on earth did I miss the uploading of Chapter 5 a few months ago??? Also, what's with chapters 5 and 6's respective numberings not starting from 1?

To my understanding, the reason why Danbooru doesn't have a "transgender" tag (well, it used to, but as an alias for "genderswap", before this was done away with) is most probably because their tags are strictly visually-based, i.e. tags refer to what is clearly seen in an image, and practically never concern themselves with the narrative or characters' background information.

Compare that to Dynasty Scans' tags, which cover both the visual and the narrative aspects.

EDIT: For the record, Danbooru seems to lump transsexuals (whether pre-op or post-op) under the "genderswap" tags, as evidenced by this post, which corresponds to the first page of this comic on DS (tagged "transgender").

Probably just a couple of seconds. My headcanon is that the flashback isn't literally happening in her head, but rather just an elaborate representation of her memories returning to her.
