I don't think all the manga projects were canned but just the Marine one drawn by Mizuryu Kei since he had a public meltdown a few days ago and took his Twitter to say he had broke any ties with Cover. The gist of it is that Kiara and Calli have known each other for millennia, being a phoenix and a reaper, and they've become good friends over time. Kiara is completely smitten by Calli but Calli is a classic tsundere and always keeps her at an arm's length but Kiara is slowly chipping her way into Calli's heart. Although things are going to get rough since Kiara is leaving Japan this month.

Her last work that got translated was a long time ago and I really loved her works did she stop? What happened to her?

She joined Irodori and now they're releasing nearly all of her work officially. However, Irodori is notorious for being scumbags with questionable quality in their translations and they are also very DMCA happy so scanlation groups tend to steer clear of artists associated with them.

People keep focusing on the thing about Calli haven't watched Kiara's video yet and while it was awkward, I don't think is such a big deal as some are making it to be. And I assume that Kiara knows Calli enough to have considered that possibility anyway. Other than that, the whole stream was pure gold, and Calli's reaction to receiving her present from Kiara was the best part.
