It's not bad, but the "I'm not good enough for her" development is such a tiresome trope ...

A far too realistic one though. It's very common for introverts to feel like they are dragging their extrovert friends down or are not worth the effort.
In this case she felt that she was just in the way of Naru's happiness, but that's more because Naru's words didnt reach her too well.

The entire time I was thinking "just get a cold pack or something" and then that's actually the punchline dammit hahaha
Where the heck did Hino-san get a microwave or stove to heat her udon though?

^Please don't say that. One bad characer design should not have such an averse effect. The manga is really darn good and beyond her bad design, Iruru is still a good addition to the cast. There is nothing to feel guilty about in enjoying a wholesome manga like this.

Naru really is like the protagonist. She put the work in once she decided to be open about her feelings. I really liked her a lot. To write a love letter to the one who she can't reach with her voice alone was so brilliant.
Hibiki never realized that she was the heroine of the story, the perfect match for the protagonist.

I suppose this is the kind of thing all Call Girls dream of. Almost too perfect.
Well at least now they can move on to actually getting to know each other lol

People really should check out Manaria Friends! Yes, it is based on the Shingeki no Bahamut and Granblue Fantasy mobile game lore, but this anime is pretty much independant. In the games there was strong subtext between the two girls Anne and Grea and this anime has them as the central main characters and almost focuses exclusively on their developing relationship. It's 100 times gayer than the game actually.

I don't know what beautiful madman funded this adaptation that only seems to exist to realize their favorite ship, but bless that person.

Yuri aside, it has great animation, a beautiful soundtrack and incredible atmosphere. Episodes are just 15 minutes so its not a huge commitment either,

Saroma is starting to outdo Mikage in the horror faces department...
She needs regular dark matter cleansings to function as a normal person. Mikage is simultaneously her savior and downfall lol

I do appreciate that she sees the romantic tension between Mikage and Hinapi and doesn't want to interfere though.

A liar, huh? Yes, the perfect image of a nice and cheerful girl seems just like a facade.

Not sure if I'm surprised that Asuka showed interest in other girls than her mom. That is natural after all. I just wonder how exactly she had been cornered and forced to realize that she loves her mother instead. That flashback had a stark contrast from this chaper's depiction of their relationship.

@random Cute, but not accurate. Just because you can use different transliterations does not mean you should. The consensus and official translation used by professionals in all cases is "senpai". Unless you just love to be contrarian (and I know you do) that spelling is mindlessly dull. Keep your orifices, just like your fingers, in check next time.
