Sakurako's dad looks so freakin' huggable. It's really too bad that he has the anime dad disease of [always away for work]. I love how easy-going he is, just like most of that air-head family. Speaking of which, they already treat Kasumi like an in-law and don't question that they will live together post graduation. If the family treats her like this, then it's more than solidified.

Because I really have no need to point out that they are a couple anymore, I instead will just point out scenes when Kasumi shows affection/support.

Notice that Kasumi said on the previous pages that she doesn't even want to touch snow and was so averse to the cold that she would rather skip classes. But when Sakurako's hands are freezing she will gladly and without hesitation take those hands in her own to warm them up.

PS: Koruri and Moka have a far sweeter relationship than expected. Moka did kinda come off as the "player" archetype, but she seems to be serious about Ruri-chan~

Actually it works if you take the bottom axis to be a simply unlabelled "time" axis. The "bad" needs to be moved to the left to remove ambiguity though.

Seconded. The flasback girl especially... Marika as a child? Lily as a child? Someone else entirely? The hair color reminds me of Lily, but considering it's stylized; maybe the hair is meant to be originally black, like Marika's.

Well as I said a little farther above, I believe that is indeed childhood Marika and Kazami was in love with her back then. Hence her strong interest in dating her now, but with a hint of regret (probably because she knows her feelings are for the other one).

I know I will probably catch flak for this, but if you genetically modify women, so they can impregnate each other, wouldn't they technically be hermaphrodites, and not females. Does this story even count as a yuri?

I heard someone explain it like this: Lillie fulfills the role of the childhood friend love interest in your average anime, but they didn't make a difference for her interactions based on gender, so this is the closest to actual yuri you can get in Pokemon.

It was a one-shot contest with a page limit peeps. There is no way not to rush this. Except of course by making it much simpler and cutting substance, but I believe this one won because it could actually convey a deeper message/interaction without rushing it even harder.

A lot of yuri is like this. Probably the majority of published series have characters who take ages to recognize their own feelings. I guess the main reason for that is that high school settings are so prevalent in manga.

To be fair, that is a common romance trope in general. I guess you were more refering to sexuality.

Well my super serious and legit theory of Marika dating a girl in the original world has somehow not been contradicted yet. That will probably change soon.

Anyway, people need to pay more attention to Kazami's side of things. I am almost 100% convinced that Kazami was in love with Marika's yuri!world counterpart. Apparently around the time they were kids at least. She didn't seem to know her well enough to be still close, but she must have loved her at some point. So this is why she so desperately wants to date her and find out more about her. The way she said "A version of you exists in this world." already had me contemplating this, but now its all but confirmed.

An alright start, then a nauseating amount of male validation, then a disappointing ending. Emi's interest in guys is shown to be only about a princess needing a prince, but it still makes Kaori's romantic feelings—what are behind her jealousy—remain one-sided by the end. There is no undeniable sign of Emi even considering a romantic relationship with Kaori (yet)...

They are not one-sided, just not entirely realized. Emi does not fully understand why she is jealous of Kaori or why she is so obsessed with being her "fairy godmother" but to the audience its pretty darn obvious. She could not possibly have this desire to have Kaori stay with her (to the point where she tries to be equal to her so she can stay in her reach), if she was just thinking of friendship. She would not be "losing" her if she got close to "princes" after all if they were just friends.

The only thing left is for her to realize that her wish to be special to Kaori is love. But that doesn't make it one-sided.

I sure hope that means chapter 9-12 will be translated eventually. Even if the "breaks" are longer than the main story at this point.
