It's how a het person imagines lesbians/gay people to be: that what drives their whole life is sex.
The cute art is wasted on this series.
Putting aside the fact the story actually explores and develops Aya's character in a surprisingly effective way for what initially seems like cheap smut, and it also has some really good insight about lesbianism in later chapters, you're completely ignoring the way the scenario is set-up.
Aya going for the sexual approach from the get-go is precisely because Marika wanted to do compensated dating from the start and she is so prejudiced that she would rather be molested than act lovey-dovey with Aya.
