When it comes to "Mamori x Mirei", I think it's important that people remember that what makes the ship great is the fact that they feel the same for each other. We need to discard the whole "casual lesbian" trope, and instead embrace the fact that these two are the OTP of the series, discarding notions like #kinkshaming and #bottomshaming. The sooner Mamori accepts that she's gay for Mirei, the sooner we can move forward with the ship.

Err, I know it is called Beauty x Delinquent - but where was the delinquent? Both girls look like 'beauties' and neither seem to be delinquents?

Also in panel 1 - is that meant to be a guy? It looks like a girl to me - even tho it says the 'guys' line up to confess.

The 'delinquent' girl is more akin to a sterotypical "bad girl", with her light-colored hair and no necktie. It's more of a superficial take on the delinquent trope, but that's anime for you.

I only just recently finished reading this... Going back, it funny how the first time you read this, the ending arc seems to come totally out of nowhere. But after going back and rereading it now, the revelation about Noriko's magical lineage suddenly makes sense in hindsight. I'm happy with the ending, though I wouldn't mind a sequel of some kind.

I personally like the sweet innocent Arisa more than the aggressive horndog she was (lol but that's just me), as it forced Mari to step up and become a stronger more confident woman as a result. I'm not trying to "bottom shame", but I think it's cool that Mari isn't quite so passive as she was in the past. I mean, good for her! When the time comes, they can even take turns being "top" from now on XD!

The X-Men cartoon from the 90s was f*ing amazing! I kept look at your avatar, and in the cartoon, the aliens are black with gold lines. The "male" alien had crazy dreadlock-like strands of hair (just like in your avi). I referred to it as a "male" because the alien's "partner" has a more feminine voice and subtly curved figure.

I wanna see a story where the girl bully is SUPER tsundere and gay for the cute innocent girl she's bullying (partially because she hates seeing boys hitting on her)... And then, when she's in the process of bullying her, she finally looses it and flat out says "why won't you f*cking look at ME?"

Thanks, but I'll stick with the uncensored fan-translation I downloaded. As an American, I've seen first-hand how things are cut and edited for a North American release. Most publishers don't want to show underage smoking, or any level of cursing, so I can't imagine what they'd do to a series that features fake-lolis, drug use, and graphic violence.

Who knows if the mangaka even had a firm cause in mind for the amnesia at chapter 7 (or had one and changed to a different one since then)? There are plenty of ways to explain away the apparent discrepancy—if you’re a creative writer.

True enough. We readers are put in the same situation as Mari--on one level amnesia plots create a default push for memories to return, but do we really want to lose this version of Arisa to do it? Still, as you say, Tamamusi does plot twists well, so even a sudden turn to a dominating "old" Arisa could be cute and sweet.
