It's a bit confusing with them talking about things that are just left hinted at (for example what happened to Yuubari and Aoba), but I'm just hoping for a happy civilian life for Nagato and Mutsu.

So I take it I'd better postpone reading up on my FF backlog that had been piling up since March? The last thing I remember is that Ssamba went to Japan for an event. Sad to heart things didn't go well for her after that.

Well, relationships to a lot of people change after a watershed moment like graduation. And it's a gradual change. Although I don't think it happened to the most important relationships now, it might have felt different at that time.

Well, seeing how the AmyFiona relationship problems weren't that clear cut and more complex, I don't find it hard to have at least some sympathy for Amy.

What really amazes me is that problems between characters are actually talked about in this story. It wouldn't have surprised me if Toto burning the letters hadn't been brought up again as something problematic (although Toto was a child back then and probably didn't see the more complex consequences of that action). This chapter was really intelligently written, also that scene with Toto getting lost.

I'm still hoping for a happy ending for Amy and Fiona.

e: that probably hinges on who Alyssa is.

My memory of the story is pretty faint, but a recent story has me wondering if Shinobu and Azusa's relationship was shown to have lasted. I really can't remember.

The doctor is emotionally distressed by his words and retaliates with harsh words about a yet unknown matter (or maybe he is the husband of the chick that left her and got married, we don't know yet).

That would be really rich if he was her husband, seeing how she confided in him about being in love (with her?). But I think he got beaten up for being gay.

This is how I like my MutsuNagamon. The MusashiYamato part was a bit worrying.

Hrm. No info on whether or not Kimu and Miyano are still a thing five years later.

Yes, it's a bit of a pity, isn't it? But my head canon is that Kimu became a makeup artist to hone her own thigh art skills to catch up to her.

Quite an unusual chapter for AnoKiss because no external events progressed the plot but just character interaction. Izumi blushing reminded me of Chiharu's expression at the end of chapter ten when Izumi hugged her, so maybe their story has now come full circle.

Senpai is still a bit of a mystery and no matter how I look at it, the way she is implemented makes her a mere plot device. When Chiharu resolves her Izumi-senpai triangle, she makes it sound like senpai following her dream was the problem. The way Maya was portrayed never made her look ambitious to the extent that it could've been the reason she was unable to answer people's feeling because she wanted to concentrate on her studies. I've never picked up that vibe from her.

The art is so beautiful. I actually didn't mind yet another pair of characters.

I feel that the guilt motif wasn't really resolved at the end, but I liked that Kai falling in love with Torii 'just happened' and the author didn't have to create a specific scene to cause /warrant it. But then again that is basically not showing the romance in a manga that is supposed to have a focus on romance. Or was the focus on the pangs of remorse?

I overall liked it, but I feel it was kind of unusual when there's nothing left to be said.

I can hardly wait for more from the volume, though. Thanks for the hard work!
