Are you sure it's ほくまに？ If it's for sure Kansai-ben, it could be ほんまに which would make a LOT more sense. ほんまに==本当に

You sure that's transliterated correctly?

Could be some dialect though. 気にせんでよかった is a Kyushu dialect way of saying 気にしなくて良い.

Looking at the Google results for "ほくまに" I begin to wonder if it's not a corruption of 僕に or 僕らに...

I debated for a long time to just translate her line to be direct about what she's saying. In the end I settled on what's there because it seemed more appropriate to her character.

Umi speaks in an oblique manner, and it was particularly bad at the end of this doujin. For the final few pages, I actually had to add a lot of English dialogue because it did not make any sense whatsoever in English. A lot can be said in Japanese without saying it directly, and Umi, as a pure yamato nadeshiko type, is a master of this.

Her "I know" isn't the callous response that Han Solo gives Leia, it's a gentle kind of one that is meant to heavily imply her unspoken words: "I love you too."

The new Kotori is GORGEOUS though. Chunchun best queen <3 I can't wait until Alter Kotori is released, that figure looks AMAZING.

Like all promo cards, though, she has the stats of an SR (and her centre skill is that of an R). Not bad for free though.

I'm just sad that this token event has pretty god awful songs. Kimi no kuse ni is blegh. And at the moment with only Yujo no Change and Korekara no Someday EX songs available it's making for some boring grinding.

Well, you're not wrong in that "hazukashii" has a kind of broader meaning than just simply "embarrassed", but the fact is this line is just 100% translated wrong. Like a vast majority of this release, to be frank.

The line in Japanese is
……あかん……はずかしすぎて　えりちの顔……見れへん……

which translates to something around the lines of
"...... No...... It's too embarrassing...... I can't look at Elichi's face......"
(I'd probably want to 'massage' this line a little in an actual release because it sounds pretty awkward, but I just woke up so /lazy)

"Good night."

Anybody else love that fact that when you max out the bond points the characters basically fall in love you the player, and all of the players are referred to as academy students at the all girl high school?

Love Live! is as much about being an idol as K-ON! is about being in a band. It's very school comedy/slice of life-ish for the most part. If that's your thing, definitely give it a try.

Season 2 is absolutely miles better than Season 1 though, and I loved the first season. Season 2 just hits it out of the park.
