I saw this in Recently Added Chapters, thought "oh neat a new series" and downloaded it. I didn't really pay attention to other details, I just noticed it was a new name and a first chapter -- and downloaded it without much thinking.

Then I read it. Then I came back on the double to CHECK THE TAGS!

And then... "Whew! No Netorare tag! Just Love triangle and Polyamory tags! Yokatta!"

I wouldn't put much stock in the tags, considering the site's stubborn policy of excessive aversion to including tags that qualify as "spoilers".

Okay, no way do I buy Shiho being that nice to Alice.

But the reveal that Hana has been listening to Mako's early morning monologue is just laugh out loud hilarious, so I'll forgive it.

Going by the MahoChovy comic, Yawarackaverse Shiho is significantly nicer outside of tankery than canon Shiho is. She'd probably ruthlessly go all-out on Alice in tankery-related activities, but as soon as they go back into the "normal" sphere of life, she'd just be Chiyo Shimada's old school/college friend who is Alice's unofficial aunt/godmother.

Page 23, penultimate panel: "**You** were the one who said to keep it a secret" (Doesn't make sense. The Danbooru translation has it that it was requested of Anzai to keep it a secret from Maho)

... Is it too much to ask that double pages be merged together? If it's an issue of them being too obvious in the imperfection of the merger, just add a white bar between them so that the drawn lines essentially match up. I've seen it done a lot in doujinshi (mostly of the hentai kind).

@Predaking: It's all a nightmare that Homura had experienced after being rendered unconscious from Sayaka cheating in their dodgeball match.

This is new. A Homura Akemi who is actually confused and unsure about the exact nature of her intense feelings towards Madoka beyond "I want Madoka to be happy", but is quite open to the idea of them being romantic attraction and wishes to explore that possibility when Madoka confesses to her. This is... refreshing.

The way I interpret this is that Shizuka's history of being bullied in the past broke her so much that latched on to Azami as the first girl in high school that made a genuine offer of friendship without even knowing her, only to be broken further when said girl abandoned her as Shizuka's bullying continued, leading Shizuka to become a yandere when they moved to second year and start bullying Azami in secret to create a false sense of shared suffering that will drive Azami into her arms.

Don't like it. Feels like it's pushing something about how people being bullied make it up for attention, and that rubs me the wrong way hard.

Actually, I've seen at least one local documentary citing studies that bullied children tend to end up becoming bullies themselves as a messed-up coping mechanism to vent their frustrations with being powerless against their tormentors, by finding people to torment themselves. It's possible that something similar is happening here, as I explained above.

... I feel like I'm the only here who still comprehends that the obvious comedic nature of the plot seriously undermines any "the misunderstanding going on for so long is unrealistic" criticisms. Honestly, there have been manga where such a misunderstanding went on for much longer without that being a major complaint.

... I'm disappointed that Maekawa appears to have not realized at all why Yumeno hates her. She deserves to know that her successes can and do lead to others getting shafted despite working just as hard if not harder and possibly being even more deserving of what she won (in the end, there will almost always be a measure of arbitrariness in human judgements of artistic quality).

Actually, if the use of "aphonia" is accurate to the original line, it's still ambiguous; according to Wikipedia, aphonia can be due to purely psychological causes (i.e. "psychogenic") despite being typically caused by physical trauma/condition (e.g. nerve damage, tumor, or tracheotomy).

Seriously, Japan's society sucks when it comes to this sort of stuff. Out of sight, out of mind, and if you dare beg for special treatment you get ostracized for your selfishness no matter what.

It's actually more complex than that. I read about Japanese welfare and it's actually very advanced and they try to make as many places as accessible as possible to disabled people. For example paths for blinds are very common there. But the disconnect is that, while laws are very generous to people with issues and government is trying its best to accommodate them, people's attitude towards people like that sucks in general.
