^It does indeed seem like Jing Xiu is a little bit triggered by some behaviour from before, maybe Ji Youyan wasn't only drinking, but also did not really express her actual thoughts and feelings well, which might cause Jing Xiu to make that "businesslike" comment.
The fact that she went to seek out her Ji is interesting though and I believe the assistant has an idea that there might be lingering feelings from Jing Xiu's side and sort of supports them sorting out their differences?

Gosh, this kind of reminds me of my favourite Sims game where I tried to recreate a Japanese girls school and my (Japanese) MC fell in love with the Danish exchange student... Good memories

Nanao follows her and then thinks that Asumi is the prostitute. Wouldn't that be funny

I honestly think that might happen... Nanao is already suspicious of what she's doing at night and noticed her smelling like alcohol and perfume the first time she came home

-> Asumi suddenly tells Nanao that she actually can't hang out today
-> Nanao gets suspicious, believing something is up with Asumi's "boyfriend" and follows her
-> Nanao sees Asumi meeting up with prostitute and correctly assesses what's going on, but believes that Asumi is the one being forced into prostitution by her bf (bonus points if the prostitute of the day is a butch, making Nanao believe she's a guy)
-> Nanao vows to "save" Asumi from her imagined bf and offers to hire her longer, generally pampers her, which greatly confuses Asumi
-> ???
-> steamy shower sex between Nanao and Asumi

I must say, I don't really care much about the manga but those translation notes where amazing and super informative, really great job Sapho Scans, I learned a lot!

Accidental lady killer Asumi is just the absolute best, poor Nanao is completely hooked and I really kinda want them to get together but I also kinda want Asumi and Mai to get together and now I'm really conflicted. I hope the manga finds a way to spin this well without to much heartbreak

I hope that apart from getting the girl, Hiyama will also become actual friends with Mizushima-kun, he seems like a genuinely good guy, particularly with her two other "friends" now revealed as assholes

I like this series and am quite interested to see how the plot will develop, but it could really do with a bit more plot per chapter

I do like that it's Ji Youyan who broke up with Jing Xiu and not the other way around because that means she needs to win her trust back rather than her heart, and it also makes it a lot easier to see why Jing Xiu would even want to go back to this relationship.

Jing Xiu's not the one who ended it the first time and presumably given a good enough reason to trust Ji Youyan she'll want to return to it, but of course her trust needs to be won back first because nobody wants a broken heart and there's no way Jing Xiu is going to want a broken heart twice.

I think that dynamic actually makes the story way more interesting, it seems like Ji Youyan did majorly mess up her life before traveling back in time, we can see in the very first chapter how she wakes up in tears, so she seems to be aware of having done bad and the reckless behaviour leading to her death was probably motivated by this.

Having her reincarnated at a point in time where she can't undo her past mistakes (i.e. not breaking up), but where she still is in a position to try and fix them and avoid both of them crashing and burning is perfect for dramatic tension. I also think that the dynamic of having to regain the Jing Xiu's trust and seriously addressing her mistakes of the past is refreshing.

Always happy for another chapter of this, though I am really not looking forward to the Manaria arc, screw that character

Regarding the entire incest thing, from what I know, incest isn't as big of a taboo in Japan as in the West. It is, of course still not normal but not as strictly condemned as over here, so maybe Inori has a different attitude because of that?

It must be a real shock for Lin Luxi, who hides almost everything in her life from her mother, that Tongtong would be so completely open about her relationship with her mom. Poor girl is going to be overwhelmed quite a bit

Wow, that ending came completely out of the blue. Not that a slice of life manga like this can really wrap up story lines neatly, but it ending so suddenly was still unexpected

Dunno, still feels creepy. Also, is it just me or is this story moving at slower than snail pace? It feels a little bit like one of those artsy movies which spends an obnoxiously long time with the camera focused on an actors face to show how "real" and "deep" the movie is...

Apart from the fact that this is obviously a gag manga, is it really so unrealistic for women who have sex for a living and (presumably) enjoy what they do to take a liking to a young, cute customer who gives them great reactions? It's not like they're all falling deeply in love with Asumi, they're basically just saying "I wouldn't mind doing that chick again"
