^^ I wrote about that under different image, but sadly it's extremely common even in games/anime/movies etc. where male characters are present, even when "faceless male" isn't used, male character in doujins are always depicted Tate-like, as absolute dickheads, even when canonically they are different and female characters are completely sandblasted to just being "submissive" and obsessed with a guy.
This obviously also happen in yuri works, both all-age and R18, but never on that scale. For some reason that massive changes in personalities bother me even in R18 material where "plot" matter more than plot.
But calling characters "our", especially in not really "yuri" work, made this rant a little unhinged, even when this frustrating me too.
On the other note: It's interesting how much more often I see people getting angry how people are making "canonically straight" (or implied straight - because they take all character as straight "as most are in real world") yuri/yaoi, that have no problem making gay (especially lesbian) characters getting railed. And I don't even have to use Goomba fallacy, because that's often the same people.

^Gelbooru isn't as bad with that like green site, but it have artworks that are either overtagged or undertagged, so you get artwork that don't suppose to appear In your searches or don't showing when it should.

Yeah, maybe it sounded like that but Hoyo games and their fandoms are bad in some regards, but aren't the worst. They do have probably only knows case of someone trying to kill company CEO, but they aren't Blue Archive players that cause widespread "acceptance" of lolicons in anime community and this shitty crying emoji spam, GFL2 players who "canceled" the game because they felt cucked or, like you said, Snowbreaker fandom as a whole. FGO community looks pretty chill, outside of standard for games with self-insert MC special cases are drama-free, at least when it comes to character themselves.

Probably because politics, but Korean-made gacha (and even non-gacha) games tend to coalescent the worst of the worst.

^Censorship is a one thing, but Hoyo always was using Yuri as more of eye candy and fanservice than serious thing in their games even before they caught the eye of an Chinese censorship. I mean Sakura isn't mentioned once in a story proper, even when we got all that story of Otto and Kallen. Bronya's and Seele's relationship also reverted to "sisters" even before Genshin brought them to light. Early mangas and story were yurish because they had Himejoshi as an writer (and rogue localizers - Siegfried never called Kiana lesbian in original version), but later they get rid of her and tone it down greatly. And don't get me with that one god-awful Herscherr in GGZ manga.

There is also that one interview, lost to time, where DaWei asked about relationships between character told that they are friends, and we're envisioned as "waifus" for players akin to dating-sim.

They also don't want to repeat bunny girls incident. If that get someone mad, think what they would do if any girl was "stolen" from male MC, by other girl no less.

I suspect very few of those people stick around for long and continue to read yuri manga on this site. There's next to no yuri that would appeal to that type of misogynistic perspective.

The more likely answer is a lot of people can't stand to see cheating, even in fiction.
If anything, I'd suspect there may be some that'd find it more tolerable for a character to cheat on a male partner with a female lover than cheating where all characters involved are female. As an extension of many having an overall distaste for males showing up in yuri.

I think actually, people with "it's just a fetish" could be ok with story where girl got stolen from a guy by other girls since it's "not serious". I know way too many men who said that they would hate it if their wife/gf cheated on them with a guy but be ok with their GFS/wives cheat with a girl, because it's "not real" and maybe they could even "do a threesome". "Interesting" enough I know a guy who became extremely homophobic after wife left him for a woman (after he was cheating on her for years).

Reading the comments and man, this is why we are never getting a Real ntr yuri (because this one is netori which is ironically very loved contrary to ntr) much less an netorase yuri
