Is there a name for stories where every person who isn't the main character is a complete sociopath/bully/jerk?

There's two words: lazy writing.

A lot of people. A lot. Not all.

A lot as in most people, which is why assuming the relationship is meant to be exclusive makes the most sense.

As a non-monogamous lesbian what the hell are you even talking about? It's not bigotry to recognize that the societal standard for serious relationships is more often than not monogamy and that the best course of action is to specifically negotiate exceptions to ensure everyone is on the same page.

This is why you don't date drama whirlwinds. They're so busy being the centre of the universe they can't be bothered to consider other people's feelings. Also, that makeover is godawful.

I don't think that Hinako is gay, she is most likely bi.

Considering her reaction to the mere thought of being loved by a man, even one she considers pretty much perfect, I highly doubt that.

Like if her internal monologues about her experiences with romance aren't textbook "unwitting lesbian coping with comp het" I don't know what is.

Thank fucking god someone pointed out that wanting to fall in love with someone, not because of societal pressure but just because of that person, is just... being in love with them.

Wanting to fall in love with someone because they're in love with you is still social pressure. I'm kind of annoyed at Himari because she apparently hasn't even given the concept of "do I want physical intimacy with this person" any thought in her alleged efforts to determine how she feels about Yori despite it being like the most obvious possible baseline to start from vis a vis romantic feelings even if it's not definitive. Makes it seems like she actually hasn't given this any real thought until Aki kicked her in the ass with a deadline.

Also I doubt it's gonna be cheating into polyamory, because it sounds like the tutor has been explicit about being polyamorous - hopefully that means the senpai is okay with it too and it'll progress well, with only our MC's roadblocks acting as a problem, without multiple characters being bad about stuff, but we'll see. The side characters are kind of annoying but at least they're all gay so there's something they do besides be obstructions to romantic progress between the MCs.

I mean rather depends on how you define useless. Touko may not give a rat's ass about or be any good at housekeeping (there being a rather obvious causal relation between the two) but near as we can tell she's got a nice career going and seems to be pretty happy with her current lifestyle.

That's more than a lot of people can say.

Living in utter squalor as an adult is a failure to be a functional adult and a detriment to your health and safety and in this case the health and safety of the minor she agreed to be a caretaker of who instead is forced to play caretaker to her.

God I wish Dynasty used consent tags more consistently I'm real tired of being blindsided with rape scenes.

If there is a rape scene, it's generally tag as such you know. Here it's just that MC is guillable and the two neighboors are playing on it. They're just more aggresive (and lesbians) version of Hino-san.

Usually only if it's violent rape rather than that Japanese trope where the character is visibly distressed and keeps saying no but I'm expected to interpret that as her being coy.

Consent is sexy I wish they didn't always have people say 'no' over and over ugh.

I suspect it's an artistic exaggeration of the existing societal expectation that women be extremely demure about wanting sex. There's a pretty massive genre of porn for the fetish of 'innocent/pure' women being corrupted into enjoying sex.

Little more pressure-y than I'd like, she's clearly interested, I'd prefer if that was explored more than just the other one practically guilt-tripping her into a makeout. Whatever, it wasn't very long, I imagine it'll be shown more later.
