Caught up with all episodes and I was a bit sceptic at first because I thought they're going to use it as just a joke but episode 5 was really nice. Worth it, and the series itself has enough yuri subtext as it is so that's a plus aswell.

But I hope we'll get to see more of Ren besides her sleeping or dozing off.

I watch moe CGDCT anime just to chill and get some giggles or maybe a smile out of it.

There's a lot more yuri to Anne Happy than I would have expected
Episode 3 was basically revealing Hibiki's feels and massive ship teasing and episode 5 was flashbacks to their childhood and how Hibiki's in love with Ren

Like, you see some yuri crushes in cgdct anime every now and then but Anne Happy has dedicated like, 2 and a half episodes worth of material out of the current 5 to ship tease the two
Watching episode 3 for me was basically enjoying the usual jokes and then astonishment every time something gay would pop up because I keep expecting it to be the last. It happened like 5 times, each time gayer than the last

Hibiki isn't just the character that gets lost all the time, but also presented as the girl deeply in love with her childhood friend, like it's so often brought up/shown, it's not even subtext, it's so majorly text when it comes to Hibiki it's great. It's so blatant and in-your-face, they can't even be called hints for how unsubtle they are, they just keep declaring it over and over again haha

And it's fuckin adorable

And unlike other subtexts, her love is fully-acknowledged since her first appearance, She is flat-out in love and admits it (to herself at least).... as in... this is not subtext, this is actual yuri. Kinda surprised, actually.

The only sublty comes from Ren.

Without reading those dialogues, you would find wdtfs comedic and romantic, I guess.

Ohhh, didn't knew wentworth was already airing so soon. I wouldn't say "gay as hell" compared to OITNB for example but one of the main characters of the show is gay and has some awesome romance surounding her. She's the best character of the show too. And that's saying a lot cause one of the shows strong point is having a lot of really awesome characters.

I'm on the third episode and if you're talking about Franky then I am sceptic that I'll enjoy this series if you say she's the ''best'' character. Personally I can't get into characters like her at all. Just like Shane from TLW.

Everytime I think it can't get more complicated it does. But I have to say, it's kind of interesting to read and I have no idea how this could end.

Caught up to Wynonna Earp and it's pretty clear, I'm excited to see where their relationship goes next.

Btw does anyone watch Wentworth? Season 4 is starting tomorrow and I just started the first season, I heard it's supposed to be gay as hell and more serious than OITNB

This series seems really down to earth, so it might actually have a down to earth ending aswell.

Sumin's development is amazing, just read all released chapters for the first time and I'm pleasantly surprised at how their relationship grew throughout these chapters.

It's not really a superhero series. The only thing that makes her different is that she's got gun that sends demons/revenants back to hell.

I'm really enjoying the show though, it's pretty fun, and there's a lot of women characters that don't turn into wilting flowers as soon as the mens appear.

Sounds cool, I might give it a shot.

Is the series good otherwise? Not sure if I'm into the whole superhero thing. The only Marvel/DC series I like is Jessica Jones.

It's difficult to talk about cultures and people I've never witnessed myself and only heard about but I truly hope this is the beginning of positive attention to this issue and that the younger generations hopefully do a better job educating their children because the kids at school are just following in the footsteps of their authorities.

But cutting dialogue, do you mean how the anime didn't have these lines?
Manga's still ongoing, the last chapters weren't published at the time the anime was made and aired

I looked it up, there were only 2 volumes when the anime aired.

I had no idea. I just thought the translations were a bit behind. But nonetheless, the mangaka needs to approve every episode of an adaption while they're producing it so I wonder why she left it so subtle.

I think it was delayed because the manga hasn't progressed enough

That'd suck but I read the manga and I'd say there is more than enough content for another 26 episodes but then again you never know that the staff wants to butcher so I'll continue to hope that season 2 comes this year.

Caught up with Tanaka-kun today and it's a lovely show and the yuri couple is not what I expected which is a huge bonus. Definitely worth checking it out for anyone who's interested.

Yes as far as I know they made a movie first and afterwards came the TV series. I don't think it's a sequel tho, just another way of telling the story so I was wondering which one would be the better choice, or, which one has more yuri since I'm not necessarily interested otherwise.

Be a dear and find out for me because I can't be bothered.

I looked it up and apparently the movie isn't that long anyways, it was more of a special than anything but because it aired in theaters in japan it's listed as movie. It features scenes that should all be included in the TV series so I'd say go with that.
