Ahh the Itou Hachi storytelling that I like. Cuteness mixed with some drama and sometimes some shocking visuals. If I block out the loliness of it all, the narrative is often really good. I love the harshness of the cut to Eve's scrapped body and the horror build up to it (from shots of the scrapyard to the beckoning whispers then finally the reveal).
b-bruhhh, why'd she make her a kid?????? I get the author has a thing for that.... stuff, but it doesn't make any sense story wise.
Story-wise I think it fits more for the personality of Eve (childish, accident-prone, a remnant of more innocent times).
