I was reading through the fan works of Kiyohiko Azuma available on this site, and one of the translation forwards on another work noticed there were some similarities between his original characters in Azumanga and his portrayals of characters in his fan works.
I feel like this work really shows how he could have pulled the character of Yukari Tanizaki out of Misato (and possibly Minamo Kurosawa came from Ristuko, too haha)
