Its a bit sad that he changed his style in Sankarea.

The title made me expect something bitter and drawn out, ended up being short and sweet.

... okay, I for real thought it was going to end badly. Like, they'll have their fun fling in the sun, then one of them has to go back home, or they break up somehow, or it cuts to one of them reminiscing while clutching something of the others while crying (signifying that the other died or got married)
Thank God it didn't go that route
