I've watched k-on again recently and I don't understand how this whole time I thought Mio x Ritsu or even Sawako x Mugi were the superior pairing when Ritsu x Mugi exist. They're wholesome together. I mean, the episode when they spent their day off together was so cute. Ritsu knows very well how to make Mugi happy even though they aren't childhood friends (like with Mio) and even though they don't share the same braincell (like with Yui). And, I don't know, knowing that Mugi's attraction towards girls is canon makes me ship them even harder.

So yeah, I love them very much.
