Does anyone know what the cover is from? I heard the characters are from a story that was published in YH at some point, but I'm not sure how to find it, or even if what I was told is accurate.

It was drawn by Hanayumiba Sou, the author of Hanayamata. It seems like there isn't a real story behind the cover art, but there is a follow up image included in the volume.
