Tapirs are associated in Japan with baku, mythical beasts that eat dreams (because they sort of match the physical description of the baku).

Why doesnt this artist make a manga based on these two characters? obviously they love drawing these two!

Fan stuff of this extraordinary family doing ordinary family things is the absolute best. Bonus points for Michiru gushing over what a good parent her girlfriend is, and Haruka blushing over how cute her adoptive daughter is. Extremely wholesome.

Seriously though, having the flagship character of an AAA title be in a happy, ordinary homosexual relationship is pretty cool, I think.
