^Yeah, I heard about those background differences. ^ I think bitfarb is right. Or doing something similar. On researching a little there are various tools / belts used for Kimono / traditional Japanese dresses - like the Tasuki cord/sash to tie sleeves up, or the korin belt which helps it keep it's form or something - and some of these can have clips / clasps etc - so it must be one of those.
