Is she killed by human?

From the looks of it, Yamame is one of the creatures who was put in the jar and she's the only one who survived by eating all of them. When that cute spider dude came in, you can see that the entrance is from above and a bit smaller compared to the room Yamame is in so it also seems that she's in a jar. Snake was probably putted in later by the owner or went in by himself to look for food.

The one who stabbed Yamame is probably the owner who placed her in the jar in the first place. It seems at the end he's going to put her in the jar again to find out who's the most strongest creature again.

Also, at the very end of the page, it seems Yamame might've killed the owner but that leaves us to freely think of the ending for our own since it doesn't show what happened after that.

If anyone is confused a kodoku is a spell where in you put a bunch of poisonous insects in a jar and they fight until you have the most powerful one. That insects power grows then goes and kills your enemy. As to the reason he tried to kill her, maybe he wanted to harvest her new super poison or maybe he grew scared of her growing power, anyway he is probably dead.

So why is Yamame so small? You can probably assume she is still a tiny spider and she only looks human to us for our convenience. I'm guessing this is her origin as the winners of Kodoku become Youkai and she'll grow and take human form later.

Gotta admit I'm a bit confused on this one
