Some sites such as Tumblr or Twitter does allow image hotlinking (posting the image hosted on that site on another site).

But that site is one that blocks image hotlinking. You might see the image on the page, because your browser has already loaded it once and saved it in the browser cache. But for everyone else, it's a broken image.

In order to put the image in your post, you have to rehost the image using an image host such as Postimage.org:
