Twinstar Cyclone Runaway by Ogawa Issui and Tanaka Ahiru — Ongoing
Six thousand years in the future, humanity has established a civilization in the atmosphere of a gas giant named Fat Beach Ball. There, inhabitants of the resource-starved planet catch Besshu, fish-like creatures that "swim" through the skies. Fishers (exclusively male-female pairs customarily seen as a married couple) use malleable aircraft to bring in their catch.
The story follows Terra Intercontinental Endeavor, a woman looking for a partner, and Diode, a mysterious girl with terrific piloting skills, as they work to establish their same-sex partnership and bring home a successful catch.
Manga adaptation of the cosmic yuri SF novel series written by Ogawa Issui. Ogawa's original "Twinstar Cyclone Runaway" short story was nominated for the Seiun Award in 2020.
