The manga's art style is a little more abstract than the anime, so it's easier to not notice that the character's clothes hug their bodies impossibly tightly.

^^The clothes are nowhere near this tight in the anime - though they do have the silly Victorian style dresses that would be nearly impossible to run in. I would never agree to wear such a restrictive dress.
