I always like the characters far more than the actual story or the gameplay. Too much RNG in the gameplay, and the story always feels like an afterthought. Characters don't get enough attention. Yeah, I'm always intrigued by Fire Emblem but I never enjoy it when I try it.

@sorathecrow i agree. the characters are interesting but i think the story doesn't do them enough justice. like... they lack depth or something (i'm not sure haha). the story is just some side stuff to spice on the game.
