@Homura E.N.D isn't a raccoon and a tanuki, like almost the same? The japanese raccoon looks more fluffy but....? XD

Raccoon and tanuki aren't actually related to each other, they just look similar. In terms of taxonomy, it's got more in common with early dog species, and is considered a basal canid (a class which includes the gray fox).

If I remember, Tanuki and Foxes have a weird relationship/rivalry in Japanese mythology, though I'm not exactly sure of the specifics.

Well, they're both shapeshifters. Although tanuki tend to be mischief-makers, whereas foxes mostly do it for food as I recall.
