I regards to this series I don't mind the yuri fanart what I don't get (never read the series) is why people say in story that some of these characters are really into women. Isn't this a harem story? Is them being into women played as "lol aren't two women kissing hot" by the author considering this is a harem story? It also has a somewhat fetish feel to it considering the author would never allow one of the girls to kiss another man. Has a "MC has nothing to worry about because its two girls" feel to it. That's just the vibes the series gives off from the images of seen online. Again I've never actually read the series so maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah Moedred, I'm really burnt out on the same discourse happening. For some reason I thought that conversation came and went, so I didn't realize my comment would start yet another round. I hope fanart for the series keeps getting approved though, I just need to say something along the lines of "Nice to see more art for the series" next time lol
Okay though, here's a very summarized version and I'm not going to get into it further than this. I think the series could handle the bisexual element better, however I do think the relationships between the girls in series are genuine and intimate, so I don't want to dismiss the bisexual side of things either and I rather take their interest in girls in good faith. Additionally I know it won't happen but I do think it would be fun to have the male character be bisexual as well, and some of the harem being guys would be cool. That's all I'm saying, moving forward now.

On the side, "Bisexual" tag will not apply here on Dynasty since tags are based only on context of image (or different images in the set). Otherwise we would have a lot more images tagged as such, since lot of these character have canonical opposite-gender partners or husband.

I have no fucking idea why this series is the one where people draw the line (especially when there's worse harem out there like World End Harem).

Yup Moedred. The constant discourse is why I was saying I'm burnt out, it was coming from a strictly personal place and looking at the bigger picture of the history of discourse.
Happysmiles nobody in this thread was saying the series is Yuri/Lesbian focused, I only said some of the characters also have interest in girls because they're bisexual. Also RandomGuy wasn't responding to you, the context of their comment is clearly directed towards Mike. What likely happened is that RandomGuy was typing their response to Mike before you made your comment, and your comment didn't show up for RandomGuy until they submitted their comment. Basically there was a gap between refreshing comments.

On the side, "Bisexual" tag will not apply here on Dynasty since tags are based only on context of image (or different images in the set). Otherwise we would have a lot more images tagged as such, since lot of these character have canonical opposite-gender partners or husband.

On the side, I can appreciate good yuri artwork, I just don't like using trope of "Girl fooling around for guy amusement" or similar thing. But someone said earlier it's not really a trope in this anime, so I'm ok with it.
Can we finally bury Genshin skin color discussion? If you play CN/KR/JP games, especially Gacha games, don't expect to have "really" dark skin characters, they just aren't really liked and don't sell on East Asia markets. It's just true. On the side don't expect openly gay characters in CN either, unless for some miracle, CN law with change.

I've gone on multiple times about how I despise harem as a genre and only stand this series because it's genuinely funny (and again, harmless compared to the crap the genre usually offers). And I despise self inserts, I'm sure I've mentioned that at least once or twice as well. And I only brought up trans people because there have been multiple cases of transphobes complaining about trans people on the site (and thankfully getting kicked out sooner rather than later).
