^I think we all were, or at least hoping. With the cheek kiss, kisses being part of a bet, and flirty element before...which just kind of evaporates over the course of season 2, for no good reason I'd argue. That and IMO the progression of the series, and end in general, was extremely unsatisfying.

^I dearly loved Gwitch personally, and I was happy with that ending. I was disappointed with Birdie Wing's ending on all fronts, possible romance, rivalry, as a sports anime, and so on haha
At least though lovely art like this makes up for a lot! :)

^don't get me wrong, i loved gwitch too! but there were some aspects that show a bit of a rushed production, yk? so like... multiply any failing gwitch could've had by 16 and you get birdie wing tbh

^Yeah there were things that could be improved with Gwitch, I guess the main thing is that the two series aren't really comparable for me at least

I loved Gwitch, but with how many plot points it introduced in season 2, it should have at least had one more season, instead of trying to resolve everything in that past episode.
