^ Margaret (Nearl) and Maria (Blemishine) are sisters, with Margaret being the older. Zofia (Whislash) is their relative, but it's never gone into detail exactly how they're related. How everyone is related to one another can be difficult to keep track of among their homeland's noble families, so Margaret and Maria just call Zofia their aunt. Zofia's only a few years older than they are, so she finds it very irritating.

^ I would say that it's more Blemi and Whislash getting shipped as they really had a cute lesbian vibe in the event story. Nearl gets included sometimes for bonus lezcestiness.

^^^FWIW she's described as a "distantly related aunt from their father's side" hailing from an unspecified cadet branch of the house, but that doesn't exactly provide much useful detail (all the more so as we have no idea how these things are counted in Kazimierz - God knows they require a scorecard already IRL). It's also offhandedly mentioned she could probably usurp the leadership of the clan in its current difficult situation if she wanted to, but doesn't; that ought to make the current head (Maggie and Maria's actual uncle Mlynar) ever so slightly nervous about her closeness to Maria...

Margeret gave up trying,one of the best lines so the best result is Auntie Zofia,she herself is descendant from whoever married into the Nearl family,something like Zofias' uncle married into one of the Nearl aunts.
Regardless,Auntie Zofia is the best head of the household,and Maria will take good care of her unmarried aunt.
