^ Vividred Operation is a fine, somewhat excessively fanservicey, mix between a magical girl series and some sort of shonen action series. If you want to just shut your mind off and watch cute girls blow up monsters to save the world, it'll work well for you. It's got a good soundtrack, too.

And there may be some yuri teasing. Just a bit. Or a lot. Quite a lot.

It's been years...not even an OVA or anything... I miss them.

Would recommend Vividred. The art is gorgeous, the yuri teasing is great.

would recommend as well. it's kinda nanoha-ish, just a lot less serious and a bit more tongue-in-cheek about the yuri vibes the characters give off.

In regards to the above,I might as well Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V this here.

The problem with Vividred Operation is that it tried to somehow be a show for kids whilst also having tier three "ecchi" in it,having the same person that was behind Strike Witches probably didn't work well for the kids part.

The inverse was the finisher, the parts more targeted for kids made it boring for those who wanted a more mature experience, hence two of the target audience types had little support for it,despite how well made it was.

Side note,if Strike Witches wasn't tier three(like how they did it for Brave Witches),they would've been more popular overall which may have translated to the same choices being made for Vividred.
