Seen a lot of Virtual Youtubers lately, a bit confused by the whole concept. So it’s an animated character, voiced by someone, that interacts with other AI and is shipable?

^ They are basically livestreamers, like the one you can find at twitch except they have 2D Anime avatar which have their own characters.
Many of them work under a company, for example this particular pair (Ange Katrina and Lize Helesta) comes from Nijisanji company.
Vtubers do collabs with each other all the time, which is why there are many ships about them floating around.
