^It looks like one from the thumb. Im guessing this is either coloured over a photo or over a 3d render- at least it kinda looks like that.

^ Ditto! The thumbnail shot of this looked like it was like two models bring photographed. Lighting, shading, and darker tones further left really made it seem as if it was a photograph. Impressive!

Nah, seems like masterful use of highlights/shading. If you zoom real close you can see the brushstrokes, either way, pretty rad art.
