I really like this. Usually, person x pokemon goes straight to some weird sex stuff. This is a nice change of pace.
Also, imagine taking your entire childhood to fully evolve one Pokemon.

I don't want to ruin the fun, buuuut... Gardevoir evolution is not gender locked like is Gallade, so there's a chance that Gardevoir is male.

Male Kirlia evolves into Gallade with a special stone, without it they will evolve into Gardevoir.
All Gallade are male but not all Gardevoir are female.

The lore books you can find in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum blur the line even further that outright state that at one point in the past some Pokemon were treated equal to or even mistaken as human. And spin-offs like the Mystery Dungeon series and even Detective Pikachu show that most Pokemon are fully sentient and are capable of acting fully autonomously to the point of forming independent settlements and societies.

Pokemon like Alakazam, with his 5000 IQ, Lucario with their ability to read a person's soul, the fact there are more than ten pokemon who used to be humans, Meowth who learned to talk and act like a human and finally the fact all pokemon seem to have an innate understanding of right and wrong by a human's standards, excluding basic survival needs like hunting, REALLY fuck up the line. It gets even weirder when pokemon like Gardevoir resemble humans more then they do any pet. So the line is really dependent on what pokemon you're looking at. Unless you're into Garchomps

^^^^Also, Pokemon definitely have hunting instincts. Several Dex entries make note of multiple predator/prey relationships. Alolan Ratata gained dark colouration through natural evolution due to becoming mostly nocturnal creatures and using the dark to camouflage themselves from predators. Similarly, Alolan Meowth are notable for being non-indigenous to the region, and being introduced to the island in an attempt to control the Ratata population after they were deemed pests, mirroring IRL events of a similar nature.

^ I think I forgot a comma, since I was simply claiming that the only thing different between pokemon and humans was the morality of basic needs, since some pokemon don't see it as wrong to eat other pokemon nor do humans seem to judge them for it unless it harms another human or a pokemon owned by a human. I understand that pokemon do indeed eat other pokemon are some evolved to get better at it

@harmony102 I'd say it depends on the pokemon... Gardevoir is as sentient as any human and humanoid so I don't think it has any more weird-factor than any average monster girl.
