The 3rd or 4th episode also had both of them go on a group date and spent the entire time being preoccupied with each other instead of all the dudes blatantly hitting on them. Rikka also seemed unfazed or unaware of the whole group date thing and only stayed 'cause she wanted to hang out with her (girl) friends.

^ It's still a great show, and while the company did stop their romance being shown on screen, the director himself confirmed that's the direction their relationship is meant to go, so you can enjoy an awesome anime, knowing that after the timeline of the series, these 2 will get together.
