I am used to Shuumatsu meaning weekend, from jobs where everyone said It's the weekend or enjoy your weekend. I vaguely knew it could mean doomsday with different first kanji but this anthology still took me by surprise. I was thinking it would be about fun weekend activities.

At least it's not all as bleak as the background to Girl's Last Tour.
