What an incredibly beautiful profound story ! This is a wonderful unique story and I even feel happy too — in spite of sadness for Hina and her loneliness! The love from her past has carried her through the unknown years! She is kind and caring to all citizens of Gensokyo! As far as I know, this is a unique story in Touhou world!

Hina is always there to protect the humans from their curses!! She has a wonderful sweet beautiful soul!! This is one of my favorite stories about Gensokyo!!
Even when I feel down and a bit sad,I come back and read this beautiful story about Hina and Suwako . Hina works hard to protect the humans and their village. She lives alone in this isolated place to collect flowing curses and stop them from returning to the humans... because long ago she was loved in the past and was dearly cherished. These are her only long-term memories... cherished, treasured, and loved by someone who she no longer remembers.
I agree! Hina deserves love since she has sacrificed so much to prevent the human curses from returning to their village homes! She is a youkai who loves humans and wants to protect them!! That’s rare!
Truly rare and humbling. She’s a youkai and should despise humans, but she loves us despite all of the hatred and hurts we have thrown upon her. I truly love her gentle and empathetic spirit. If she is a monster, then I would rather be more like her than human!
