The series stars Haruka Fukuhara (Kirakira ☆ Precure a la Mode's Cure Custard) as Hinata Omimura and Miki Yanagi (Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger's Sera/Zyuohger Shark) as Mikage Mikuriya. Kenji Kurata is directing and writing the script.

In the story, Hinata is an introverted high school girl and Mikage is the "gal" who sits next to her in class. Hinata realizes Mikage is her friend from elementary school, and she wants to strike up the friendship again
