So at the end it says "Even sunflowers get tired".

That must mean that Yuuka was getting bored of living so in an attempt to escape she probably "kept sleeping". The first few pages imply that she hibernated through fall, winter, and maybe autumn too.

The encounter with Reimu at the shrine was actually AFTER that "nightmare" which was just shown as a flashback. At the end of that nightmare Reimu (implicitly) told her the name of her favorite flower and so that's why Yuuka knew Reimu's favorite flower at their shrine encounter despite Reimu not remembering telling Yuuka about it.

At that shrine encounter Yuuka thought that Reimu would be angry because Yuuka was "picking on her". Reimu responded "What are you talking about?". Here Yuuka realized that she just had a dream nightmare which Reimu had no idea about.

At the last pages we see Yuuka waking up to probably summer.

What Yuuka feared is not knowing what to do in her Youkai life. What Yuuka wished/wanted is to be acknowledged/loved as an existence. And the end of the fight she realizes that Reimu is the one who "loves" her as "Reimu would never kill her". She finally knew what to do in her Youkai life. So she finally woke up and visited Reimu with her favorite flowers.

This is literally the Avengers: Endgame of touhou. I've seen no other touhou manga except this where literally ALL characters team up to attack an enemy.

Another good Touhou manga with a good premise but has a nerfed + badly written Yukari. Im not gonna continue after chapter 3. zzzzzzz

touhou aint touhou without an overpowered reimu

art too stiff. lacks emotion. i can't read this seriously. plot wise, its too straight forward and rushed. the premise of a shrinking gensokyo and the characters suddenly killing each other because a dragon says so seems too far-fetched. characters are nerfed too much in the brain department just so they can be killed. Very simple, pretty far from canon. Not much effort were put into the dialogues and just focused on doing the plots. Its eh. Maybe my standards are just very high from the previous touhou doujins that ive read.

The art is INSANE. I loved this just as the other manga, Rainmaker, with the same author and art style. The good thing about art styles like this is the depiction of emotion. The more detailed or the more "realistic" the art gets, the more expressive it can be. Also its a very unique art style too. Really helps you take a breather from all those mainstream looking art that's populating the manga industry. The only downside with artworks like these is the fight scenes. It gets pretty dirty with all the lines and effects so sometimes it becomes difficult to understand what's happening. In any case, this manga had what I wanted: badass Reimu (adjuciator) scenes, and more overfuckingpowered yukari screentime. Would really love to see one where the main character is Reimu but touhou doujins don't really like to do Reimu as the mc probably because she's already the mc in all of the games.

Wow that was an amazingly surreal Touhou doujin. Great read.

Its kind of similar to KKHTA in terms of plot's theme but is definitely better in terms of canonability. Amazing artstyle. The character's canon personalities were definitely on point. The only one who's off is Reimu and she was executed very well. I also really liked how it followed their original power scaling. The powerful ones stayed powerful throughout and didnt got nerfed. I especially liked how it portrayed yamaxanadu as some sort of great fear inducing judgement buddha. Also Yukari ofcourse with her limitless power of the boundaries that no diffs reimu. The art is really amazing. I wouldve loved to see the original badass mc reimu on this style.

One more thing, I really thought that marisa here would turn into Okina. Like she kinda got the same outfit and all that blonde hair. Plus her legs are basically dead and she's almost crippled. It definitely felt like its going in that direction like that wouldve been cool. Like its gonna be like Osana Reimu where the story is about the backstory of the character like Rumia and for this one Okina.
