Mona is trying to get Kurumi to like her in order to use her to manipulate Naoi, right? I don't think she has outright malice or even necessarily knows what she's doing so much as she lives in an emotionally unstable and manipulative environment, with the baby being used to paper over the issues in their mom and stepdad's relationship.

But her empty eyes in the last panel makes me feel like it could get nasty. Kurumi also seems more open to her than most other people due to the resemblance to Naoi, she's even been very slightly blushing (cute!), and she's emotionally vulnerable due to reaching out to her mom...

Kurumi has seemed uncomfortable for most of Mona's visit. Mona wants them to keep secrets from Naoi, which Kurumi's questioning of showed sweat drops in the bubble meaning she didn't like the request. Then Mona starts doing a series of invasive questions that Kurumi questions Mona's intent of. And Kurumi had a WTF reaction when Mona started talking about becoming like Kurumi's little sister. This is basically the same kind of setup as chapter 7, down to the location. Where Kurumi is being pressured into accepting a request that she doesn't really want to.

Unless the author wants to just rehash past arcs, odds are it's there to show how Kurumi handles it better this time around. Also, Kurumi never spoke to her mom yet, only her grandmother, and it was due to Naoi's support that Kurumi thought of that she even found the courage to set up a meeting with her mom in the first place, so saying it's already make her emotionally vulnerable is quite a stretch, since nothing bad happened yet.

If anything, the part of Mona's plan based around hanging out at Kurumi's house is in immediate danger after Kurumi's phone call with her mom, since her mom coming back means Mona wouldn't be able to stay there while Kurumi's sorting things out with her mom. Considering this has so far been framed as an emotional growth arc for Kurumi and Naoi, them making the same old mistakes from past arcs is less likely to happen.

So what are the odds that Mashiro is lying about Yoshino confessing to her?

It's possible, but they both kept that they were still in contact with each other a secret from Yuhi, because she thought they became estranged after Yoshino rejected Mashiro's confession in high school. Maybe over time Yoshino missed her and being unaware of what was going on, actually did confess years later. Or maybe it is just a lie and this is a manipulation tactic so that Yuhi doesn't think that Mashiro is only coming to her again after getting rejected by Yoshino yet again. In fact, we don't even know if the flashback was the first time that Mashiro confessed to Yoshino in the first place. Seems odd to jump to seducing the little sister if she hadn't already been rejected by Yoshino sometime prior to that.

Of course she was one of those characters that groomed a small child. What a fucking creep. Not to mention homegirl is delusional as fuck knows she was just a substitute for her sister and is still wearing that necklace? The fuck is wrong with her... Well we knew something was wrong with her from the very start but yikes.

Yuhi framed continuing to wear the necklace as some kind of revenge against Mashiro. Either because it was never meant for her, since Mashiro wanted to give it to Yoshino, it only has a Y on it because their names happen to start with the same letter. Or because wearing it while doing things she thinks Mashiro wouldn't approve of makes Yuhi feel like she has some control back. Chapter 6 showed that Mashiro was controlling, so maybe Yuhi thought that becoming promiscuous while wearing the necklace was a way to get back at Mashiro trying to control her. Though as Mashiro laughed at it, it clearly was a wasted effort that only hurt Yuhi and anyone that developed any feelings for her that she encountered.

I don't get this chapter at all. She's wearing it on her leg, so what's this talk about not wearing it? And why would that lead to accidentally take her bra off (I mean, I'd get taking off something else ... nearby ... maybe)?

She's not wearing it in this chapter. That panel was a flashback to chapter 3, which was the only time she actually wore it. Yuhi was just trying to steer the conversation into how she's good at undressing people, because she's still looking for every excuse to get Sakurako to have sex with her. Her trying to take her bra off was very deliberate and calculated.

...Though the question that comes to my mind is did Yuhi already have a relationship with her Ex-GF before MC confessed or just managed to get into a relationship after MC confess...Because Yuhi could have just used "Sorry, thank you for your confession but I already kind of have a GF..."

Considering how manipulative Yuhi's ex was, it's possible she forbade Yuhi from telling anyone about their relationship. And then once Sakurako was out of the picture after the rejection, the ex was free to manipulate Yuhi even more without anyone really noticing. That might be when the necklace first came into play.

Probably not the necklace? She already knew that Amano had forgotten it at another girl's place, so it wouldn't make sense to assume she's there just because the necklace is.

Chiwa has no idea that Yuhi left the necklace at Sakurako's apartment. When asked by Chiwa about the missing necklace Yuhi's only response was "Just a change of pace...maybe?" So, she might just assume that Yuhi decided not to wear the necklace that day. In fact, for Chiwa to tag an item of Yuhi's, she would've picked an item she would be certain Yuhi would have on her at all times. Considering she noted that Yuhi didn't take the necklace off previously even during sex, it's possible it was the chosen item as it would've been seen as the safest bet at the time.

Which leads to an issue, since the necklace always seeming to be in Sakurako's apartment is giving the impression that Yuhi's with Sakurako even more than she actually is, which is further driving Chiwa's anger.

I'm assuming Chiwa secretly put a tracking app into Yuhi's phone. The story seems to be making Yuhi's other sex friends into toxic people so that she'll eventually dump them all in favor of Sakurako.

Also, it seems like Yuhi's backstory is a classic case of grooming, where an older girl seduced her and then dumped her, causing her to seek casual sex instead of romance. The necklace is Yuhi's "collar" from that older girl. So, the plot is likely going to be Yuhi getting over her past heartbreak and forming a committed relationship with Sakurako.

she clearly wants an exclusive relationship with amano despite claiming otherwise but amano doesnt want that and that doesnt seem likely to change

The fact that the series has been told almost entirely from MC's view so far makes me think that there's more going on with Amano than meets the eye. So far basically every character is lying and putting up a front to deal with their insecurities, including Sakurako and both of her friends. Amano's playgirl persona is also likely at least partially fake and used as a coping mechanism. For example, she fiddled with her necklace (which she lied about not being important and likely about who gave it to her) when she said she didn't want a girlfriend. She might have some past relationship trauma that's causing her to reject committed relationships.

Either she'll eventually warm up to Sakurako enough to try for a committed relationship on her own, or her playgirl ways will eventually blow up in her face somehow, making it impossible to continue that lifestyle. For example, if the story decides to paint Amano's other friends with benefits as manipulative enablers that bring out her worst traits. And that would ditch Amano the minute she wasn't a convenient hookup for them anymore.
