She was pretty pushy with a (very) drunk girl who she knew probably didn't feel the same way about girls.

I mean the story doesn't tell us the details on the lack of consent, but I think it counts. She was so drunk she called the wrong person and couldn't even walk properly without support.

But yeah, Ayaka is supposed to be the 'bad person' here.

I don't think Ayaka call wrong person. Look at how she smile when Mitsuki shows up, all according to plan :)))

I think it is fair for Kodama to like drawing both dark and light manga. Sometime I like cold heart main c with not so sain world setting, after finishing that, I want to change into fluffy romance that not to complicated or drama.

I like some of her works (mostly oneshot) where you have some bitter aftertaste, a perfect cup of tea when you want other than pure and bright yuri.

The way I interpret is black hair girl crush cute girl, but they silently agree this is just "heat of young age". Now they meet again, black hair want to revenge for toying her heart (and a little love emotion still exist) by becoming third party.
For me, in toxic relationship, it's better to keep them together to not hurt other normal person feeling.

Such cute characters and similar art style. She is a bit like Nobara (an ojou) but more soft.

Murasakino-san's works are mostly not-so-simple type. I like this. The way the story give hints that this is not gonna be ok beneath the fluffy scenes is masterpiece. Need to admitted that I really love the art style so my moral is kinda...went with it, lol.

As others said, Lapis's hatred toward the anti-noble fraction may come from her sister who was also a commoner. As implied, her sister likely dies when try to protect Lapis (maybe assault or kidnap by anti-noble people which relate to other lower noble families or even high-tier nobles). Lapis kills other commoners to hide her true revenge for the noble and help Gran strengthen his chance to become King. Anyway, just my guess.
The art is great, the plot is thick, some drama with a love triangle. Usually, I prefer kuudere type like Lapis but Diana is sooo cute. She is a sweet and docile girl (with puppy eyes) but when facing someone who wants to hurt her important person, she can be scary and protective (a bit yan?). She gets jealous when the other 2 skinship but doesn't hate Lapis after that. On the final page of chapter 5, Diana thought "I would never make you frown like that..."

when looking at Natori who is feeling sad, suddenly my brain plays the song "Treat you better " :). I hope she can find a better person (since we all know who Natori likes).
Lapis is awesome in her own way. She is strong, intelligent, beautiful, and has a complex background, can be evil (?) but also shows her tsundere side. I agree with other analyses about Lapis understanding Natori more than Diana. And that is what makes Natori fall for her in the end.

Why there still don't have next chapter after 8 years ToT. Even KC ss2 will air this November. Hope that will create some passion for author to continue.

I love Akaga and Zui x Shou the most. However, I also like Kaga x Zui because they have some hints in the anime so it is half true for me lol, depending on what ship.

This was different, though it's too bad you can't really count it as yuri per say in the sense that there were no actual romantic feelings to be found (does the Zuiun count?)...Does anyone know if there's a sequel to this though?

So that why Kaga confused when they first meet again and everytime Akagi called her name, Kaga's expression looks sad. Small detals but good indeed. In AL, the relationship between 3 is also complex. Excellent story.
