I do like that there's absolutely no room to misunderstand right from the first chapter. It's not "I love you too" and both taking the other as meaning friendship, it's right there in the open. I can't think of a lot of series where they state their intentions so clearly at the start, all the more so from Morinaga.

Also, is it me or does the art look a little different from her norm? It seems similar to some of the more "pretty" parts of A Room For Two.

More like stretch with less queer baiting. Which is good, I liked stretch.

That was cute for sure but what does the tag "lots of jpg artifacts" mean?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compression_artifact

Sure, it gets a little bit jpg artifacty if you zoom all the way in, but the rest of that is just toner - its supposed to have the blocky stuff in it, its how the artist shades in the characters.

I love morinaga milk, every series is the same two character designs. It really makes it feel like none of her series ever dies, though I hope she gets to the relationship part of this series a little faster than in, say, girlfriends.

After fluttering feelings and stretch, its nice to have a series that just dives right in.

haha, we're (I'm) mostly just joking, but there doesn't seem to be much, or any, sexual attraction here, except for Senpai's reaction the The Softness™

Nah, the name of the game her is discression. They always show affection or attraction for each other when no one is looking. The fact that they got all gropy for the first time here is kind of huge.

Is anyone else wildly confused? Did ran move out? I thought she was just visiting her parents? It seemed like she wasn't returning home so much as sleeping on an old roommate's couch.

lyGetting this stuff to display properly in a webview and scroll to the top-right (which is not (0,0), so the width must be measured) is not trivial, much time was spent fiddling to get it to this stage.

Measuring the width is a train wreck. It doesn't just count pixels, since there are scale factors to be considered. I'm assuming each page is the same size, which they're sometimes not and that's generally responsible for some of the wonky behavior. If ICS has added the ability to scroll to the top right, then things will be much better, at least on that platform.

You are using webview? You should be able to make this infinitely easier on yourself with a little JavaScript to handle all the scaling and zooming woes. I suggest you check out sencha touch (http://www.sencha.com/products/touch). Its a JavaScript library for creating HTML 5 webapps for touchscreen devices, complete with multitouch goodness. Actually, if you find you are basically wrapping everything in webview, you might want to consider writing the whole app in html5 and using phonegap to compile it to an apk. The benefit of that is you can pretty much build the app for every platform, including webos and blackberry (though good luck getting it on apples app store). I realize that you already have a ton of work put in to be writing it off for a new approach, but I suppose a little info never hurts.

I don't remember if I offered my assistance in my last comment, but I'm totally willing to help in any way I can (it seems I have some time on my hands since the scanilation seemingly ground to a halt a few months back).

I just noticed the android application, and I love the idea. It seems to be a bit of a beta, and I wanted to give some feed back; this seems to be the relevant place to do it.

A bit of background: I am programmer irl, mostly .net, python and javascript/html. I have developed for windows mobile(unfortunately), I have written a c# windows comic viewer, have familiarity with java, and would be willing to help with development either as a tester or as a coder. I have the ability to build, test and debug android apps.

1) You might want to consider scaling the pages to fit the window initially. It is a mobile app, so while some zooming and panning is probably going to be required, I've always found it nice to see the entire page first and then worry about what I can and cant read.

2) I love the icon, I really do, but I just think that maybe the link to lesbian comic book porn on my mobile phone could use some subtly. Its just so when my kid cousin gets tired of angrybirds, I don't get awkward questions about what akiko is doing to mari. or get known as the guy with lesbian comic book porn on his cell phone. I get the feeling that no amount of explaining would make it go away, and I would have to change my name and live out my shame in a different city.

3) Swiping would be nice, along with the option to change reading order from left-to-right to right-to-left.

that's about it. I would suggest that the development team check out the "Perfect Reader" application to see a really well done mobile comic reader.
