Like I said. No reading comprehension. They can literally confess, say I love you and lets stay together forever and it's still not enough.

There's a long history in anime and manga of two female characters telling each other "I love you," after which one or both hook up with a guy anyway. The issue is what happens after they say it, but this story just ends there. To me, that comes across as "so close, yet so far."

I'll also keep it at that. Yes, I'm annoyed, but hey, there's so much more to read out there.

In those stories, one of the female characterst never ask "are we lovers now?" afterwards, and to put that in a manga where homosexuality have a big topic, is just stupid if your goal was to make them best friends at the end. Because everyone would think they are lovers.

Plus, after reassuring her that it was ok to be lovers even tho they would'nt kiss and do other lover stuff, you could see on their body language and with the context of the scene in mind, i think its really farfetched to say they are just best friends.

Also, you can be lovers without having any skinship.

From November 1. Tokyo recognised same sex couples, so Altho they can't marry, they get a lot of the same rights as heterosexual married couples get.

I don't get why very poor social skills are deemed as "cute" in manga. Irl they're considered "creepy" or "weird".

I've only heard people say it's cute irl. I don't get how it could be seen as creepy.

it's not about that it's about the story itself. it started original only to end like ANY cliche stories. it feels like any smelly cliche with the stupid ending "without having children you can't be happy". when that couple until the end, ALMOST managed to show the opposite, it just fall flat with that stupid ending. and i'm not speaking about how forced and out of the blue that felt!

Let's not go calling it a problem. To be fair, that extra did kind of feel forced on at the end. I kept expecting Arisa to wake up and for it all to turn out to be a dream.

But I also know many non-cis/hetero couples that have or want kids. And having a child as a couple is the exception in yuri, not the rule. So, maybe let the lesbian couples who want kids also have their moment of representation. As Heavensrun said, I can think of two, three tops where an established couple chooses to have a child together, and one of those was autobiographical. If there are others, please point me to them; I'd love to read them!

For me, it was the fact that they used her brother's sperm that puts me off. It feels like its not Arisa's child but her brother's. would have been better if they adopted one or something. Then I would have been all for it.
